Nobody is really talking about it much but has Newsom become the modern age Nero diddling while LA Burns?

Newsom, like the governors before him, have allowed the water wars to control where the water goes in California. Places like the city of Kern can't even use the water that lays below them in an aquafer since all that water has been earmarked for LA, yet LA doesn't have any water to put out this fire. I will also state the obvious facts that the ocean is right friggen there and hasn't been used to put this fire out due to "concerns that some plants might be killed by the salt water.
So, the hell with the two people that have already died in this fire, and those 70,000 others that have been displaced, Newsom has to protect that grass and shrub. My bet is that the places where all those homes were are going to be "Emanate Domaine" by the state of California so that so-called "Affordable housing" can be built for the illegal population there.
That being said, at least Nero made building codes so that the public in Roma had safer housing, Newsom won't do that. If anything he'll let Haitian styled housing units to be built.
