I'm not in any way saying this is a 'good' thing. BUT
If we ever had an opportunity to actually detect and react to malfeasance in real time... this could be achieved by having assets and people in place and ready to intervene at the time of the election....
BUT
Who says we don't need watchers to watch the watchers? Transparency... the new "hateful" thing to governance.
