The thing is the laws restricting extremist and terrorist propaganda aren't about filtering ordinary opinions.

They target material designed to radicalise and incite violence.

We accept limits on dangerous chemicals and weapons.

And we place limits on information deliberately crafted to harm others.

This is not really any different. 

It might be nice to know what the specifics are all the same.

Because in there will most likely be the reason for the man's guilty plea.

Every community must claim the right to set their laws as they see proper and acceptable.

I have no standing to claim relevance to these folks....

but "fear" is too easy to use an excuse for anything...
and the freedom to communicate is too important to abandon...
until we can actually read minds and reconcile intent to actual action...

this is far too intrusive to me...

The subject of the report wasn't "proselytizing" or preaching... just firing a weapon for sport.

I'm afraid I would make a poor subject of the crown...
