I have only just heard of this case, to me, her having PR to speak with Australian media should be questioed. Like if you're not use to lying under oath... I digress.

At a quick glance, the girl died from sepsis, apparently caused by untreated injuries, that being a foot abscess and skin ulcers, which the prosecution alleges resulted from neglect.

Looks like there are also claims of abuse, which suggest Sanaa was confined to certain areas of the house, forced to sleep outside, and restrained with cable ties.

Then there are the reports of over 100 cuts and bruises all over her body. 

Purely speculative guess based on the reported injuries and neglect/confinement claims, the prosecution's case seems stronger.

It hit the TV news here and with some sort of strategic comms; it sounded suss as fk and I figured it would have been on US media before this.

There were a number of murder related news articles today (domestically) it is atypical she got to speak on the news.

Us Australians need to learn not to send our crims overseas.

This case was BIG NEWS in America 6 years ago when it happened. Back in the news now as it heads to trial.

I am sorry I know it isn't YOU but this article is so OFF THE CHAIN AND WRONG! This woman and her husband [the child's father] SYSTEMATICALLY tortured, starved, and refused to get medical care this girl needed for her HORRIBLE INJURIES that led to her HORRIBLE DEATH FROM SEPSIS.

They want to blame the hospital. Yes. Well I am sure if they had taken her to the hospital at any point rather than making her eat her own feces and perform manual labor or face the abuse the SEPSIS might not have even happened OR it would have been treatable. 

The CLAIMS in this article that Sanaa had "verified" schizophrenia are TOTALLY FALSE! The trashy parents pulled her out of school so they could more easily abuse her then took her to a pill-mill psychiatrist and told the psychiatrist a bunch of LIES ABOUT HER AND HER BEHAVIOR in order to get her on Risperdone. To be able to further abuse her and make it so that no one would believe anything she said.

These people are legit the worst and I cannot even EXPRESS how angry I am that the prosecution decided not to pursue the death penalty. 

Media might believe her lies, but a jury and judge sure won't. EVIDENCE speaks louder than the lies of a murderer.
