I'm no gatekeeper I like all kinds of metal.

Avatar is as acquired as Amaranthe. it goes back and forth between good singing and out of place gutteral parts. 

I love Elize Ryd though. What she adds makes it interesting.

And we cant do a metal thread without my metal hero.  Some have Taylor Swift... I have the girl you call when you need a demon girl to sing like shes posessed in your song.

Omnium Gatherum is not bad, neither is Insomnium.
We actually saw them both a few years ago here, in a tour opening for Moonspell. It was a cool show. Very varied. 
I got a new Omnium Gatherum record the other week but it's a bit too 'major chord' for me, I like darker stuff, but I think it also may just suffer from the 'most albums recordered in/around COVID kind of suck' vibe. :D

I adore this band . It's a shame Thomas Warrior has stopped writing new material after only 2 albums and is just going on Celtic Frost 'revival/tribute' tours

So here is a band I don't ever see many talking about, it had a few albums and then the lead vocalist died.
