president Maduro captured after US strikes

As time goes on, the crude in the ground might mean something.  But at current production rates, Venezuela production is a drop in the bucket.

All I see it meaning is that the American taxpayer is getting fleeced once again because of Trump's ego, the future of selling Venezuela's oil worldwide doesn't pan out from the worldwide oil consumption sources I am reading.

Final Thoughts
The 2025 Statistical Review confirms that oil is still very much at the center of the global economy. Demand is growing in the developing world, production remains concentrated among a handful of players, and supply vulnerabilities persist.
In the coming weeks, I’ll continue to unpack key findings from the Statistical Review, including natural gas, coal, renewables, and nuclear power trends. But one thing is clear from the oil data: in a world increasingly focused on energy transition, the importance of oil—economically and geopolitically—hasn’t gone anywhere.

It does not matter the ups and down stats of worldwide oil consumption if USA/Venezuela oil will not be bought by those worldwide. Who will be the customers? India?

"India's oil consumption is expected to decrease significantly with the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).

Hello.  Venezuela’s current capacity because of neglect of its petroleum industry is less than 1 million barrels a day.  It will take considerable investments in an unstable communist dictatorship to raise production and shipments.

You're not getting it. Without customers it's all for nothing.

You are the one making a big deal about Venezuelan oil where the US alone already produces daily over 20 times what Venezuela produces.

I am pointing out a truth not making a big deal of it, is my act of replying to your responses now considered making a big deal of it - quite the twisted slant on your part? I only responded to you because you were not getting it, not getting that if oil is what Trump wants to steal from that country, that it will only fleece the American taxpayer in the end because there are no longer any customers to make it worthwhile.

I don’t see militaries, space administrations / rocket / missile fuels, the jet cargo industries, plastics industries, chemical industries, farming / fertilizer industries getting away from hydrocarbons and increasing demands and world populations anytime soon.

Let’s paraphrase all your bitching.  Supposedly that somehow Venezuela was about oil where it produces less than 1 million barrels a day because of neglect from a dictator reaping the remaining profits for Chinese radar systems that were ineffective where Venezuela was meeting only about 6.9 percent of China’s demand where you claim in ten years countries like China will not even need crude even though they have a growing demand for plastics and chemicals dependent on hydrocarbons.

Ok.  Your weird.

Is that your opinion or do you know for sure through credible sources?
