Oh, ok

Then you're right
Total success

They said they would keep the money because it's owed to them.

Just shows both care nothing for the people. I think that is bad leadership because giving the people what they want (as in food and a roof over their heads and programs to help them better their lives, such as small businesses (construction) etc. (they definitely need construction and/or reconstruction businesses) and pathways to higher education) would ensure many would change political sides hopefully against the paramilitary guerillas trying to usurp power because it is serving their needs.

How about all the Venezuelan bullion sitting under London?

Or the oil tankers that now “belong to us”?

As a side note about all the folks that are going on about “the law” being on the American side and Maduro’s warrants. No one gives a shit about the million folks in Gaza that are maimed/dead and the fact the US gave the finger with help from Mossad blackmail to the judges there that have deemed Netanyahu’s crimes against humanity at the least trial-worthy.

So save it it with all that BS. What’s done is done/just beginning.

American hegemony is back baby!

Just sayin.

That would be absurd.

The mission was to arrest a narco dictator with outstanding warrants.
This was done legally and flawlessly.
The stated mission was a success.

How does the fact that there are others tied to the network
somehow make this mission unsuccessful?   The stated mission was
never to destroy the network.   The stated mission was to take him
out of power and arrest him as per the warrant.

Correct. it must be.

Because when pressed about what happens next, Rubio looks like a deer in headlights.

If the US seizes that Bitcoin it will be added to the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and it will give Trump new leverage over China in the AI race

Which is really what this is all about

To be fair, Marco Rubio really only has two modes.

I get my groceries delivered, so I can see the prices changing every month on my purchase history and I’m also only paying $2.20 for gas, half what it was under biden.  My electric bill hasn’t gone up in over a year, definitely not the 13% Forbes is claiming.

Rapid inflation we had from the last administration has stopped and we’re currently under the national average. At the very least Trump has stopped the bleeding.

A large percentage of our population are share holders and they’re loving Trump at the moment.

I think living here gives me a fairly good platform to evaluate things honestly.

Your source (Forbes) hates Trump and they’ll find anyway possible to skew anything about Trump, they’re extremely biased on Trump, like most all of your posted sources. JS

Yeah, it amazes me when somebody believes you would lie about your life being economically better in comparison. All to reinforce a political stance on a message board where we are strangers

Hell, all the riots before Covid were body blows to our industry, we started to hemorrage clients and companies way back then. Throw in personal and business challenges, the last 10 years have been the worst of my 40-plus years as a taxpayer.  Even now, we are doing well because there are still significantly fewer firms selling the same category. Loss 4 2nd-tier manufacturers this year, and retail clients still go OOB at too high a burn and churn rate.

In my current situation and age, specifically

If I felt like the Democrats gave a shit about my industry and produced enough economically. I would deal with the other secondary issues where I don't agree with DI's Democratic peanut gallery.

Right now, Im running out of years to salvage a modest retirement. I know Im not alone, everyone in my age demographic in this business is in the same boat. Thankfully, we are getting very busy, and this first quarter is usually where most of our yearly profits originate.

I cringe at any political or current event news that may affect the biz.

anything negative in China, and with its New Year approaching, it could still turn into a cluster. They have 3-6 weeks to ship the bulk of our time-sensitive 2026 Spring merchandise.

Maduro wasnt trading in US currency so he had to go
Another puppet state run by incompetence set up in South America, it will start another war like Ukraine.
This will put more nations off the US dollar and quickly.

The fact that Maduro was taken away in handcuffs is enough to tell me Trump has learnt from the mistakes of his predecessors.
But what do I know, I'm just an irrelevant Brit.

Just my opinion.

1000% Reagan, the Bushes would have never caught as much flak, and the overabundance of worst-case scenario concerns is just ridiculous.

Since before COVID, every Trump move is heralded as the precursor to war, famine, poverty, and ruin for the masses
