True, but if propaganda, then it is serving a purpose.

Is it to show Zelenski's weakness? Russia's strength? Or is Russia ready to respect a ceasefire agreement, now that Trump has had enough?

An Russian Times Article isn't that reliable on it's own as others have said.
It probably is a pure propaganda piece to push a Russian narrative, and make Ukraine look like like the bad guys when Zelensky is asked.

A cease fire means that both sides stop shooting at each other where they are.  Ukraine withdrawing from territory that Russia controls means that Ukraine capitulates and Russia wins.  Putin is not serious and is playing Trump for time.  Again.

Zelensky is saying this to convince narcissistic Trump to give him more military aid. That's all there's to it. Confrontation didn't work so there's an attempt to stroke the overblown ego of the guy who thought he could end the war in 24 hours. If Russia still has the power to take more Ukrainian land than it already has, it will not stop at the current front line. The whole Russian economy is focused on that war. Putin will not stop. He will continue the war till he can.

Most other leaders don't do anything productive because they just want this stupid war to continue because they are corrupted.

And war is one way for them to hide their crimes.
