Why would a former FBI director do this? he had to know the meaning

8647 t-shirts advertised as anti-Trump

It's a well-known slang and has been used contemporaneously at anti-Trump rallies
One of the shirts has flowers with 8647 under the roots as if it's dead and buried

No further questions, your honor, the prosecution rests...

Maybe it was the address for a sand castle?

It could be something stumbled across and posted because he liked it. I have seen a Trump-related graffiti and public temporary art like that before. Nothing I'd take a picture of, but others might.

I could see a random person doing that. But usually that "random person" is the first one who posts a picture of it. So that works against him too.

But....

Jail? Let's not lose our freaking minds. Trump's a jackass. People are going to want him gone. Even ass hurt vanquished foes.

it saddens me to hear calls to put people in jail for it.  It's ambiguous. Sure it's pointed, but you can't prove it's pointed to violence and killing him.  I wish they'd remove him and his entire administration somehow.  If there was a number to signify that Id post it. And it wouldn't be a threat of violence.

Assuming it most assuredly is a threat of violence is actually going on feels. Because you're going on your projected feeling he meant it as a threat and not a call to remove him without killing him. Its non defined enough to hold up in court.  Unless you got corroborating beyond circumstantial evidence he meant it as "KILL DONALD TRUMP".

That is NOT law and order. And it's scary as shit the toadie in charge of our intelligence can't see that difference. I need to go to jail too, because I second the idea of "8647" and would wear that shirt, and apply whatever non-violent context I want. Seems as trendy as "Let's Go Brandon."

So you've seen where it's been referenced at anti-Trump rallies in my earlier posts. There are T-shirts, and there is no ambiguity in their meaning.

Your side has called for violence against Trump and his supporters going on a goddamn decade.

The hope for your weak minded cult is that someone crazy enough will succeed in pulling it off and when I say "crazy", that covers a lot people on your side.

I feel like you might dislocate a joint doing that much mental gymnastics trying to avoid what someone in charge of the FBI would understand about such an already commonly used phrase. There is about as much a chance he didn't know as I have of taking down a vegas casino counting cards...

He should have known better, and known it would cause this, and maybe that's the point? But it's not illegal and he shouldnt have different standards than me.  I could post that image all day and never go to jail

Being a prolific former FBI Trump hater with a personal relationship doesn't take that away.

On the same note, people have the right to criticize him up until legal consequences. They can speculate he meant "kill him" all they want, even demand an apology, shun him from society, but not much legally beyond that.

You don't have beyond reasonable doubt. It's no longer The American Criminal Justice System if that's bypassed, even to jail a person on Trump's enemies list..

Absolutely, and Comey knows how many threats Trump had against him over the years it's completely different potential motivation if a nutter sees Comey supporting 8647 over seeing a regular person doing the same thing. They have a negative personal history
Quote:JAMES COMEY
Trump fired Comey from his post as FBI director in May 2017 over the bureau’s Russia investigation. Comey had also announced in July 2016 that the FBI would not recommend charges against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for her email practices as Obama’s secretary of state. Trump believes the investigation was handled unfairly because of what he alleges is political bias against him at the FBI. Comey does not have a security clearance; Trump said Comey may not be able to have it reinstated.
On Wednesday, Comey tweeted a statement that said, in part: “Once again this president is sending a message that he will punish people who disagree with him and reward those who praise him. In a democracy, security clearances should not be used as pawns in a petty political game to distract voters from even bigger problems.”

He knew what it was and what it meant. Thats why he posted it. But you can't prove that now, can you? He can play dumb, legally. And even if he knew and meant to post it, its legal. You've seen the shirts above me. It's fashionable. It's this term's "Not My President".

The former FBI Trump hater is legally allowed to post that.  It's a trendy thing that means "get rid of Trump" with no greater context intended. It's as protected as "Let's Go Brandon."

Pretend i just posted it. I posted "8647" in my Trump thread. Is it illegal? Do you know what I meant with it? What do you think 8647 means to me?

"Let's go Brandon" was the sanitized  F--- Joe Biden no more no less

Trump Neurosis is manifesting itself in all kinds a ways. Backslid from Comey, didn't know the reference to he should have known, and he did know, but it isn't illegal in 2 pages.

and it isn't the that there was a T Shirt for Biden it was that it's the former head of the FBI who carries a bit more weight to the nutters of the world

For the record Im against arresting him too, it's still stupid as hell move even for a douche larue like Comey
