Thats already happening in California with California's Mental Health Diversion program (Penal Code 1001.36). Basically anyone that says they have mental health problem and have committed Misdemeanors/Felonies are given a get out of jail free card and given 3 months of outpatient counseling and a clean criminal record.

How convenient for them.

It would seem some of the politicians that pass this stuff need treatment too.

Im a better chef than most of my exes, ex-wife included. She tried hard, it was cafeteria cuisine, edible but forgettable; she had other talents.
