What will make us come together?

Our politics have successfully engineered many to be  against joining The Gallactic Imperium, Federation, or DOOP. The Alien UN..

We must embrace The New World Order and one world governments that unite the planet in common purpose before they let us into their elite planet club.

Unfortunately, until we are borderless in policy, and stop being psychotic religious monkeys, we are to remain a "Type 0" or "primitive" civilization.

And we aparently piss off the interdimensional ones with nuclear detonations.

So we should stop that too.

Annee's all-in with agreeing, and sure that's okay, but am I detecting more sarcasming? "We must embrace The New World Order"? Actually on some level I think you do/did believe that...

Do you know you can just buy Starfleet uniforms?

I've been leaning towards the opinion that 'maturity' is realizing that all power-concentrating forms of governance result in corruption spirals, due to a feedback loop between the application of power and being selected for such privilege. The only system I've seen that breaks that feedback loop is sortition¹. But no one likes that system because it eliminates the possibility of political chicanery².

Maybe they're waiting for us to figure that out and give up our schoolyard squabbling.

¹ the process of selecting public officials randomly, often by lottery, to ensure a representative sample
² deception by trickery or sophistry

sortitionnoun
  1. Selection or appointment by lot.
  2. Selection by drawing lots.
  3. Making a chance decision by using lots (straws or pebbles etc.) that are thrown or drawn.

This has to be infinitely
better than the current system...

I prefer a draft of age-eligible and a Squid Game selection process

To be clear.

I have said I think it’s inevitable. The natural progression.

Money and power will win.

Never said I embraced it.

The world is designed so that there is always suffering, strife and conflict.
In the life we are given as a gift, we can find the beauty in everything, even in violence and pain.
This is not to revel in the negative or glorify it.
It is to transcend and transmute it.
We realise that humans, animals, plants, are all in competition on a material basis.
There is the immortal energy and soul which will always be together.
But we have given an agreement to experience these senses and these pains, and to learn to find joy in them.
So we are already together, we just have to see it inside everyone.
This involves maturing and listening, and agreeing to disagree.
Not striving for ego, 'points' and money.  But to enjoy the details and the moments in life.
The in-between-states where we listen to the silence.
We respect the material and use it to grow, but we realise that ultimately there will be no grand Reconciliation of human society. Ever.
There never was, and never will be, this not the way of the material world.
The best we can do is view the like-soul inside each of us and respect it, and have stern compassion, with logic and divine love, not emotional clinging.
Just my 3 cents.

That was what the OP made my brain think.
Regarding 'alien invasion'
Well, my thoughts on that:
They are already here. They have been here for milennia.
There are more than 3 or 4 races or species.
Many of them are nonphysical by 'nature' , spiritual, energetic.
They interface with the world of the dead/souls.
They have factions, we have factions.
Our major governments have already sold us out to the technocratic 'grey' evil faction, but there are multiple greys.
Ever is there conflict and intrigue in the universe, even negative astral entities, and positive ones, 'angels.'
Stars have consciousness, plasma is sentient, and we all become stars of a sort if we ascend at death.
Its all a big beautiful sponge.
A star sponge.
Eventually the universe will inhale and there will be Peace and then it will Exhale again.

If you cant treat other humans as equal without the threat of aliens, think about it'; you dont want unity, you want fodder.

Learn about intersectionality if you really do want some "all humans together" stuff.
I was not here.

Funnily enough I HATE weed!
It does nothing but make me paranoid! Also I hate the smell.

The mind altering things I enjoy these days are
green tea/coffee
beer/wine
meditation/ritual
