What's Your Superpower?

Yeah I just turned most of the superpowers off around 20 years ago. they can be turned on I guess, not sure on that actually, not tried since then. 

I can communicate (back then) with ghosts. I had various spirit experiences that at times were a little unnerving and don't really want to use that superpower again. Permanently turned off. 

I was back then psychic. I can read through thought 9sometimes) what is drawn on a persons piece of paper, or communicate through getting a frequesncy with another person, generally helps if they are 'in on it' too.

Can hypnotise certain people, basically only sub Saharan bantus. Tried it in asian, chinese, arab, Euros, it just doesn't work, even on north african. But i can hipnotise sub saharan males (not females) using my eyes. Once I lock on they are submissive and fall into line. It's the strangest thing. If I so decided I have little doubt I could emigrate to say Malawi and become President in no time at all. It's the strangest thing, yet because of my experiences with the spirit world / G-d I can phase into the Earth spirit / Love and using my radiant blue eyes can penetrate their souls with the love of the G-d Head. It's something I've become aware of as I get more mature. Quite useful at times. 

You probably know about the UFO stuff. That's probably my main superpower. If I wanted I can summon them. It may sound crazy yet I practised this when I was younger. I have no desire to get back into the UFO summoning world, but it exists, especially when it comes to the orbs. Also more difficult but from there motherships. It all got too much anyway and I sort of use my energies in the world of work these days, yet have interesting memories of the superpower days.

I have been able to stop or shut down completely electronics,  cars, especially if someone messes with me, I seem to be able to Jack up whatever they are trying to operate, computers, cars, phones.

It seems to happen if I or someone else I care about is suffering an injustice.  I can hear people’s thoughts sometimes.  I’ve had people run from me yelling how did you know that, or I didn’t say that out loud.  I once called a customer, while working for the phone Co by her nickname that only her close family knew of.  She questioned me over and over how I knew her nickname and I kept telling her I don’t know.  She hung up on me!

Empathy. Not the "I know what you mean or how you feel" type.

I literally absorb other people's pain and distress.

I often fall very sick with flu-like seasons after hugging people at funerals or when they are under a strong emotion.

I am still looking how to deal with this and protect myself, as it can be very debilitating. Recommendations on this are super welcome.

It is something real.

What you describe sounds like what is refereed to as being a empath.

I could only imagine that feeling day in and out.

Well, as long as we are all playing supernatural medium here... here's my cryptic answer....

 

River: ( re: Ruby ) Her sister got killed. Mother got crazy, killed the sister. That one lived.

Doralee: Ruby talked to you, honey? ( to Simon ) I-it's true what she's saying. Poor woman went out of her mind. Tried to kill her two girls. Ruby lived. ( to River ) Sweetheart... you are an angel. No one's been able to get Ruby to speak even a peep. ( laughing ) It's a miracle, that's what it is.

River: Ruby doesn't talk. Her voice got scared away. ( smiles ) I hear crickets.

Doralee: I don't understand. If Ruby didn't talk, how do you know...?

Simon: Um, my sister's... she-she's very good at... ( beat ) What's wrong?

Doralee: ( shocked ) "And they shall be among the people. And they shall speak truths and whisper secrets and you will know them by their crafts."

Simon: What are you talking about?

Doralee: "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live!"

Just way more fallible and prone to noise then TV makes it look.... and its so freaking random... like when you're at a roulette table and you start thinking the number 15 out of nowhere. And when that inkling pops into your head that strong with 20 seconds left to play, you might lose money not to. 

But if you "try" to do it, you fail and lose every time.

I always thought that being able to hear 'the dramatic suspenseful music when something bad is about to happen', would be a cool superpower, but I only seem to have that power when watching TV, videos and movies.

Oh, and I know the secret of the pyramids. Turns out, it was just a cool way to stack rocks.

... and polar bears are normally found towards the North pole, but if you shipped them to the South pole, they'd be bipolar bears. Best avoided!

Also, if the subtle energies that flow through the body are called 'chi', then if you had several of them, with different wavelengths of energy, they'd be 'cheese' - very powerful!

And butterflies are a lie. They have nothing at all to do with dairy products.

There's another one I forgot in the above post. This is so simple a superpower and anyone can try it. 

Dowsing! Used to do it all the time at school. Pack of cards, put a two pence under one of the scattered cards. Above averages, you might well find it. My perference is or was as I forgot about it til now is the pendulum. I got to get back into this. So much fun. Using bent sticks is also good. two coathangers too. But I'm a pendulum person. I guess you just need to mentally ask the question, then the pendulum pulls in a direction. Also it will pull towards water. 

It's quite coincidental, as a few weeks ago I drove past a water board employee who was doing exactly this, dowsing. He was using two bent steel rods, like coathangers. I turned round, started chatting to him. He said with a smile on his face "mad int it, only a few of us can do it so when they they need pipes finding they send me out."

and it's so simple to show 'em it works when they do scoff. Can remember someone doing the same at school. I said "are you willing to test it"  to which the person was. I handed him a two stick but joined large twig. Asked him to hold it horizontally and walk towards a known watercourse / drainage cover. He tried a few times, as he walked over the drainage cover, to not let the stick move, but he couldn't hold it still, indeed it went vertically at quite a rate and smacked him in the goolies
