Agree.  It's the question of ages that men asked of angels and probably forgot the answers.   There are requirements here to flesh out a thread.  I am hoping the OP will step up and do so.

If we examine AI.  We see the nature of our thinking self, represented in silicon.  But what silicon cannot replicate is our self awareness.  Perennial wisdom suggests that its the "self awareness" itself that derives from the unmanifested energy of the spiritual. That some label as "God".

That is why some spiritualist write. 
"What you are looking for is what is looking"
Or "The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love."
Or "I am that I am"

So the more pertinent question is not whether God exists, but whether we exist.  Or are we just an avatar for that which wants to experience all things.  To answer that question we have to search the darkness within ourselves. What Taoism describes as the gateway to all understanding.

My mom died when I was a little kid and my dad put me in Girl Scouts just to have more female interaction for me. We were doing some leather craft and me and my dad went to this leather store. When we got there I thought in my head,  "I wish I could show my mom this cool thing I'm making" and we shopped around and came out of the store. When we came out, directly across from the store was a rainbow. So I know that was God telling me he heard me and my mom is here with me.

There was an infamous case I was following where a little boy was murdered by one of the worst people to exist on planet earth. After she got her 3 consecutive life sentences, outside the courthouse was a rainbow.

My dad always told me he will be a bird if he can give me a sign after he is gone. Since he died, I have seen Cardinals constantly. One morning when I was on a trip, I came out of my hotel and there were two Cardinals perched on my car. I thought.....hehehehehe dad. Is that your girlfriend?!

So I don't actually know if God exists, that is a matter of faith and belief, but I have seen the signs of his presence throughout the world.

Ok, my opinion alone.

I walk out onto my deck in the morning, I see hummingbirds, butterflies, squirrels and all the other fauna of my area. I think to myself “What a Wonderful World “ and keep moving. My best friend is an atheist who believes that this is how everything evolves.

My mom had an NDE and came back saying that she was not worried about death anymore. So, for me, yeah I believe in God. Do I have answers, no. None of us will have answers until we depart this plane of existence.

Religion is man-made. I’m not a good follower, but I know that there is something beyond this. “Split a piece of wood and I am there”, “Lift a rock and you will find me”.

My beliefs are mine and personal. I truly do not gaf if they don’t conform to someone else’s.

What are you, me, we? Can we really answer this truthfully, can we seek God when we don't know what we are, where will you look?

The search for God is looking for yourself as much as anything if not everything and do you take everything with you in the search? All things birds, trees, dirt and seeds..other people?

You must understand "gnosis"; what do you know, can you articulate it, how many pages?

How many pages can you write about yourself? And we seek the answers to the universe...gnosis on God?

How much can we write about a table and a chair? How much can we write about another person, can we seek all the answers without knowing those around us? Perhaps there is a reflection, can you keep them in your heart or will they get lost in the whirlwind?
