In a former life I used to teach at a gym downtown where I had a few encounters. One morning Jessica Simpson took my class. Mo Cheeks popped in to warm up. Oprah used to lurk at the door to the studio and watch.
Also at the gym I've seen Justin Timberlake, Mel Gibson, Patrick Ewing and Troy Aikman in passing. I once shared an elevator with Joe Frazier and he seemed like a nice guy. Another time I shared an elevator with Andy Reid and his staff. John Harbaugh was the only one to say hi.
Outside of the gym I met Bob Lanier once and bought him a drink. I also met Ray Rhodes once in an airport bathroom. No, I didn't shake his hand lol.
