What are you thinking about?
My other thought is that Extra terrestrials are likely numerous in this galaxy just based on the number of star systems and planets in this galaxy.  We only occupy less than 1/3 of this planet or land surface so some could even be here but maybe that makes them something other than extra terrestrials.

Wouldn’t it be amazing that out of billions of star systems and possibly trillions of planets just in this galaxy that we are the only intelligent life?   I have better odds of winning the powerball.

Could you even pull up a fishing line that is 15 miles long or would the line break?  Makes me wonder if a fishing line could withstand 15 miles of tied together fishing lines.

That’s what I heard in the video.  I’m not believing it but makes you wonder.  I’m wondering about the fishing line strength.  I’m pretty sure Mel’s hole is fake.
15 miles of 10 lb monofilament fishing line is less than 4.5 pounds total weight. With a 1 oz sinker at the bottom to keep it straight, that would be less than half it's breaking strength. No real problem getting it or getting it back out.

The real problem is you would need to have a very accurate scale measuring the weight of the line to see when that sinker hit bottom as the weight of the line would be significantly greater than the sinker. The weight of the line would pass the weight of the sinker at just over 1000 feet. By that time the line would keep itself straight at the top and could just be piling up at the bottom of the hole.

I would not trust it as a measurement past 800 feet to be safe.

Of course heavier lines and weight would calculate out differently.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

Thanks for the explanation.

I am thinking this is my first post on this site.  I'm wondering how it works.

Today, I am thinking about wind patterns as they relate to my location.   We (Bride and me) live in the Caribbean.   We moved here because we wanted to live somewhere where we could survive if TheShitHitTheFan.

So, Most of the winds flow across the Caribbean from west to east and trend northward.   That is good for us should nuclear weapons explode.

I am also thinking about how ridiculous carbon credits and cap-and-trade are.   So, a wealthy country pays a poor country to use their carbon credits, so the wealthy country can emit pollutants.   Perfect.  Perfectly pointless.

I am also thinking about how 45 years ago, I realized that while others might be to blame for some of my circumstances, ultimately everything that has and will happen to me is my responsibility.   That is the moment in which I was truly free.

Well... if you had any doubts... you did it right Bally001.

What we do here (in this thread) is simply plant the occasional random thought that we experience in life...
Sometimes it's just one of those...

"You ever notice how....?"
or
"I've come to the conclusion that...." little things members think to share...

But it's really up to the poster... not themes...
longer discussions deserve thread of their own...

go for it.  Thumbup

I presuppose (with some caution) that the an adept's answer will be akin to:

"It is written."

A predominant feature of slave-religion narratives (and their derivatives)...

Holy ordinances.

I think it was more or less "told" to his disciples to "summon" him.
(i.e. they'll all say they had no choice.)

Although... the creature is an 'image,' after all... questions, questions.
