I love both those breeds, especially their typical two-tone eyes. You're never quite sure where they're looking.
Yep, "Rhode" the Australian Shepard is indeed a 'Merle' (one blue, one brown, eye). We call it..." Giving them the Blue Eye!". He uses his blue eye to freak out the cows (and his brother). He stares with his blue eye and nobody knows what to think. He actually cocks his head so he's leading with his blue eye.
These two guys are an enigma of sorts. They're more peers to each other than one being dominant over the other. The ACD is the dominant one in the field, totally fearless. But the ACD lets the Shepard eat first. Otherwise, the ACD is in charge. The only time there's ever a dispute about who's in charge is at a door or a gate (any door, or any gate). Whomever gets there first guards it like it's their territory. The two of them are inseparable like they're attached with velcro...right up until it comes to a door or gate, then they'll trade fur (every single time). Another weird factoid is the ACD is always dominant if they're moving away from the house, but when they're moving toward the house the Shepard will try to exert dominance (again, like clockwork, every single time). If they're moving parallel to the house, they're stuck together like glue. It's crazy.
The attack vector routine I think they figured out because the ACD is so much faster than the Shepard. The ACD would take off after a errant calf and look back at the shepard on the way like..." Are you just gonna' sit there, or what?"...and the shepard figured out he could cut the distance by cutting across the arc in a straight line. Once they figured this out with the cattle, then they put it to use on the rabbits and other critters. The cows kind of helped because cows (calves, steers and bulls) never run in a straight line, they run in an arc. This is so they can see behind themselves. (though a mad bull will charge in a straight line because he doesn't care what's behind him...UNLESS it's an ACD, and then he very much cares!). The ACD will stop the biggest meanest bull in a NY second, and turn him around like a scalded cat.
edit - And the ACD is about 65% the size and weight of the Shepard.

It already is. I've received multiple death threats over the years, haven't you?
If you're a participant on these kind of forums and not ruffling some feathers then IMHO you're doing it wrong. CT is mostly synonymous with counter-culture. Other groups like BLM and ANTIFA are also counter-culture. So were Occupy Wall-Street. So were Anonymous.
CT is the only mainstream counter-culture that leans Conservative(by US standards). I would include NRA, but they're constitutionally granted and I don't think that can classify as a counter-culture although I agree that it may to about half the country.

That said, I would never recommend a Husky to someone unless they knew exactly what they were getting into. They make for some cute videos, but in reality they have a lot of other negative traits which aren't so cute. The biggest challenge with them is they're about as bright as a fence post and they're strung like a banjo wire with infinite energy. Oh, and I'm pretty sure their ancestors are Martians.
I think Huskies are pretty neat dogs and seem fairly intelligent as far as as dogs go. They'll tear stuff up though.
I'm not sure what breed she was, but an old family friend had one of the dogs that didn't make the cut during police training. It wasn't just doberman, it was something else. It was fascinating discovering the training she received.
They had pool parties with lots of family, but nobody else was really born in my generation, and I typically end up either conversing with the older folks or playing with the dog. I would just play with her throwing the tennis ball and I discovered that if I did certain things she would react a certain way or bark. For instance, I could throw the ball and tell her to wait and she would. If I threw the ball into the trees, for example, and I tell her to find it, she would not quit unless I called her off, even if she couldn't find it. She almost always did, though.
They clearly used a tennis ball to train. She was extremely responsive to the tennis ball, specifically.

Conspiracy Theorists are protected by law as well, it falls under the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution. It's both a Freedom of speech thing as well as a freedom of the press thing. The public needs to know and discuss these issues. That attacks on the -Q- movement by Congress as well as the full blown attack on Pizzagate by main stream media and alphabet agencies was a clear violation of that right, and the abuse keeps going on.
I would bet that the CIA is the ones behind this social brainwashing which would explain why Chinese platforms are constantly being allowed to subvert the American media platforms.

I agree with you to some extent although there are legal limits on the "free speech" granted in the United States that have been honored and reinforced by the justice system time and time again. The classic shouting "fire" in a crowded theatre deal.
Theoretically this type of speech would fall under "criticism of government" which is specifically allowed in the US. However, I think it is no secret that entities like the FBI, and CIA have always been keeping an eye on these alternative communities. Even back to the JFK era there is evidence that Ruby was already under surveillance by the FBI. Same deal with Elvis Presley apparently having ties with the CIA. Elvis Presley's music was representative of Rock & Roll which was considered a counterculture to mainstream music at the time, ergo the overreaction to his dance moves on Ed Sullivan.
I never got into the Q thing. I read through the PIzzagate thing. At first, it seemed like there was something there, but towards the end, at least for me, it fell apart.

Oddly you can yell fire in a crowded theater, but just like anything spoken, you have to also be aware of the fallout of saying something that is contrary to good social order. Just like no one can really stop you from spouting hate speech. The laws against it are vague if challenged from a Constitutional standing.
Its something people don't much thought into while living in a free society. You are responsible for your own actions, be it either rewards for adding to society as a whole, condonation for taking away from society, or ignorance for being nonconsequential to society.
When viewed from an angle of control by the government, allowing people to openly speak their minds, call out the government, or present possible differing of event to the official narrative is dangerous to the control mechanism of that government.
Creating a system of nonparticipant education for brainwashing that society allows easier control of the people within that society. Scarily enough, we saw this exact play during the covid lockdowns and continued vaccine mandates some countries are still pushing.

I think where the US government has been running afoul is the right to "petition the government for redress of grievances" which has been interpreted by the courts consistently to mean that people can assemble, they can protest, they can petition, and they can air their grievances which includes protections on writing about them online. It seems to me, this is the avenue the government sincerely seeks to control. This is exactly why, IMHO, sites like this are being targeted.

Edit Reason: spelling

"Free speech" is the primary social component of human dignity.
While yelling "Fire!" in a movie theater represents an obvious peril... if there IS a fire, it's not only acceptable... it's advisable as a warning.
I can't see how it is not evident to people that the very foundation of freedom is responsibility.
But in the end - this problematic concept has much to do with never talking about it without injecting some ideological baggage into it.
Freedom of speech is not some vague, undefinable thing.
It's simple.. You speak to be heard... say whatever you want, just don't expect others to refrain from reacting to hearing it.
Also, to speak is to self-identify... say hateful things and be heard as a hateful person... cop attitude and expect to be treated poorly.
We should really teach these things to our kids...

an absolutely perfect textbook example of an ad hominem remark that fails to answer the question raised. Don't answer the question. Just attack the person who raised it. You must be very proud.
Everything hurts and I'm tired.
