They couldn't show the Nazi moonbase on the dark side for security reasons.

They did see Pink Floyd however.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Some can't believe their eyes, apparently. I see curvature.

I see part of the earth that is being shined on by the sun got blacked out, like the Earth is a waning gibbous moon 95% full.

WTF, Is there some kind of invisibility shield cloaking the earth?

Watching the live streams of both the launch and the return, I felt like I watched more animations than I did actual footage.
Someone buy these guys a few GoPros asap

*yes...I realize that their PR folks were axed prior to the events but still...

They don't want you to see the flight path curve towards Earth when it's at most only 50 miles away.  Real Video in link video I posted.

Every star in the universe is laughing at that statement. The Moon has no light of its own.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

You expect internet streaming quality for that distance? The internet uses correcting protocols that don't work when seconds are needed to get a reply. The way they had to do the steaming is the problem, not the photograph and video equipment.

And for the most part in the past, the PR people caused a lot of the problems. Like not having video scan converters ready for live feeds.

Pink Floyd is the most popular reason most call 'the far side' 'the dark side' even though lunar night is actually the dark side of the Moon. Just like Earth, the Moon has day and night. Yet most people don't even think about that. Roughly 2 weeks of sunlight and 2 weeks of night.

Great album though.

Night is on the other side of the globe, not the side being hit by the sun.

But on second thought, I think I was mistaken, it looks more like a 95% WAXING gibbous earth.

Neither does the Sun.

But you’re right, silly me, Earth is the greatest light in the Universe, albeit an invisible one.

At least the Moon gets its light straight from Earth, but the Sun gets it 2nd hand from the Moon.

Anyway, point is the Moon is greater than the Sun.
