War In The Sky…

I had a lot of fun painting this last night. This is how I wanted it to come out. Far from perfect.
Step by step photos of the stages of painting. I used acrylic paint. White, yellow, red, blue, green, black, purple and orange.

I mix colors on paper plates, if you mess up just toss your plate and restart. One small brush, a medium brush and a large brush. Three cups of water and a rag.

I always start out painting a middle horizon line. It’s art so you can do whatever you want. Things to do: Make a mess, get paint all over yourself or on the floor and don’t worry about cleaning it because it just adds up and looks cool.

The progress of the painting adds to the impact and growing mystery.

I consider myself very fortunate to know you.   Wink2

So this painting is a reflection of the sky upon an icy path surrounded by snow. If I were to paint the side that you don’t see it would be an amazing sunset in winter. The meaning is that life can be a beautiful reflection from our past.

The stars and shooting stars are made from dipping the other side of the brush in white paint and dabbing it on the blue sky. As you dab the paint gets thinner creating smaller stars. If you want a shooting star going up dab and drag up or down for down. For a star with a sparkle dip the backside of the brush  as make an x or a lowercase t.

As you know it’s a thinking process. When I mess up, I just blow dry the paint and paint over it.

Top class mate.

Nice picture.

Just turn on a VPN Midcon, and set it anywhere in Europe/USA, bar here, and it will let you see the picture.
