War In The Sky…
#1
This painting is bigger looking in person.

I had a lot of fun painting this last night. This is how I wanted it to come out. Far from perfect.
Step by step photos of the stages of painting. I used acrylic paint. White, yellow, red, blue, green, black, purple and orange.

I mix colors on paper plates, if you mess up just toss your plate and restart. One small brush, a medium brush and a large brush. Three cups of water and a rag.

I always start out painting a middle horizon line. It’s art so you can do whatever you want. Things to do: Make a mess, get paint all over yourself or on the floor and don’t worry about cleaning it because it just adds up and looks cool.

I  am in awe of your artistic talent Quantum.  My own pale in comparison.  You have such a creative ... what to call it..... I think I must use a sports metaphor....  you have a creative scrum that just works in a pure and organic manner.

I consider myself very fortunate to know you.   Wink2

You are so kind. I am hanging it in a room with 3 other paintings. I just had fun doing this one. It took about 1.5 hours!

When an artist is able to let their zen creative flow RAGE, the make beautiful works.

I am trying to rediscover that constant within myself that I once had.   I recognize it in others like you, and celebrate the victory of creativity.  You are one of a kind.   Truly.

ETA:   RAGE is the wrong word, but it is an explosion that isn't always gentle.

Bob Ross is amazing. I love his Mountain Madness. You should paint away freely and whatever comes out it was created from you! If you mess up it’s even better. I messed up the path by time lol.

i can’t wait to see your creation.

Thank you for looking at the painting. I was going to describe each step of the painting but the D.I. upload photos is broken, so I had to load all the photos at once. Spacing them on a phone is not easy!

Maybe there’s a storm coming and you were supposed to paint this.
