Rather freaky one involving the power blackout of a Swedish town and UFO occupants.

Also some strange aspects including 'paralysis' of the witness and 'impossible' malfunction of steam boilers.



• Sweden, January 28th, 1979:

The Forsheda Incident

It should have been a quiet shift at a Swedish factory… But then strange malfunctions, a total blackout, and an encounter no one would believe. First, the factory’s boilers and ventilation systems inexplicably shut down. Then, the entire town was plunged into darkness. But the true mystery unfolded when Lars encountered a one-meter-tall humanoid figure—one that moved in ways no human should. Moments later, it vanished aboard an invisible craft, leaving behind only strange tracks in the snow.

'Flying saucer' (see sketch) witnessed flying four times in a counter clockwise direction around a power transmission pole.

High pitched whining noise reported as well as animal reaction (link) - the family dog covered its ears and all the cows ran off.

UFO INSPECTS FARMHOUSE. On Feb 19, 1968, Martha Heggs was alone with her two children in her farmhouse in Bengough, Canada when she heard a piercing noise. Looking outside, she saw a flying saucer hovering over the power-pole. As her dog cowered in fear and the cows ran for safety, the saucer closely inspected each area of the farm. It was the strangest 20 minutes of Martha’s life.

Did A Giant UFO Cause Power Outage?

Looking toward the west about a quarter of a mile away, they saw an object approaching as it crossed over Route 30, moving over high-tension power lines and toward the West Penn Power substation. The station was located behind the Greengate Apartments and across the highway from the mall.

Their first impression was that it was a blimp, but their perception soon changed. The object was immense in size. The cigar-shaped object was estimated to be about three hundred feet in length. One witness stated that, to him, the object looked to be the length of two Goodyear blimps, and about as thick as one blimp. The elongated construct appeared to be a solid craft with a silver or dull gray surface. Moving at about fifty to sixty miles an hour, no sound was discernible. The object was quite low and moving about three hundred feet above the ground. The entire object had many brilliant blinking lights that were white in color, flanked by bright flashing red lights on each end.

The observers continued to watch the object as it moved in a smooth horizontal path. Then the object suddenly made a maneuver that stunned them. The football-field sized object suddenly turned vertically in the sky. For a moment, the power in the area suddenly went off in the Greengate Mall and the surrounding area.

• Sudbury, August, 1967:


Welding manager Don Campbell and 18 other co-workers witness close range oval shaped UFO over Copper Cliff mining complex.

The object was seen to hover directly over the power station transformer house causing 'flashes' then all the power blacked out.

The official reason in the superintendent's logbook states that the power blackout was caused by 'an unidentified flying object over the Copper Cliff Complex'.

As UFO reports go, this is a pretty fascinating one.

• "It was 10:20 or 10:30 in the evening and I was in the welding shop, welding. All of a sudden, my friend Jimmy, who was in the plate shop, was ringing the inter-plant phone off the wall. He asked me: 'Don, did you look out the front and see this UFO?' I asked him what he meant and he told me that he had just seen a UFO come down from the sky and circle around the middle chimney twice. He said he was sure it was a UFO because it was against the law for a plane to fly over INCO property. He told me to run out to the front door and take a look. So I ran to the front door, and I looked over, just in time to see the UFO hovering near the dry (change room). I ran back to the phone, and told Jimmy I would join him in the plate shop right away."

"Outside the shop, Jimmy and 18 other welders and plate shop workers watched as the UFO hovered near the No.1 dry. The flying object, measuring approximately 50 feet in diameter, glided over the property at a height of 85 feet and started to approach the plate shop. The craft, oval-shaped in appearance, had a pulsating red light on the front and a steady green light on its side. It was barely moving, no more than 15 - 20 miles an hour, as it went past the plate shop. We were not directly underneath it, but we were looking up at it, at an angle. We glanced over toward the east and saw the object lifting over the CIL building, tilting at a 45 degree angle and shooting up into the sky, disappearing in a northeasterly direction. When we took another quick look at the object, it appeared to be like a little white star."

"I got on the phone and called the Falconbridge Radar Base to report the sighting. They started asking me questions, took down some notes and told me I'd be hearing from them. Meanwhile, Sergeant Wayman who was at the No. 1 dry, came running over to the plate shop, all excited, and told the others what he had just witnessed. It was later revealed that 15 additional witnesses had seen the flying object as it flew over the Concentrator. They also reported seeing electrical flashes and sparks, as the UFO went right over the #3 power station, causing a power blackout which lasted for fifteen minutes."

"The next day, just before I left for work, I received a phone call from the Radar Base and they confirmed that the UFO sped away at 22,000 miles an hour."

Very very strange considering the "spectral/plasma" effects and the timeline of some of the encounters. In the old tales and still today apparitions appear in thunder storms. Thor, Indra, Zeus springs to mind.  Aos sí, aes sídhe, Tuath Dé /Tuatha Dé Danann not to be left out

Possibly two different kinds of phenomena being mixed up? EMI does strange things to people I believe, most I think is not comfortable talking about this. Some of the visions and effects could be explained with that.

All the "civilian" radars from airports and weather stations must pick up something. Radio interference and so on

If the phenomena is linked, I don't understand the switch between fucking with people and physical manifestations, clearly craft flying about that is not imagination or induced visions whatever...

Yes mate would say Fae folklore is definitely involved in all these UFO antics somehow (far, far too many correlations) and you're not wrong about electromagnetic fields affecting folk's perception either.

Maybe all this is a combination of things but there's another freaky UFO occupant incident below from Italy in 1950 which involves high voltage power lines (and thunderstorms) taken from Vallee's Magonia database.

Whatever's going on it's all very interesting and will look through other collections for more examples.

On 24th April 1950, at 10:00pm, the rain had just stopped after a violent thunderstorm, and he went outside his home to go to the toilet seat in a shack.. He saw that the dark object some 200 yards away, next to the power line pole. He estimated it to be 10 meters large and 7 meters high.

Also came across the initial telephone call from Bill Pecha to NUFORC's Bob Gribble (transferred by the Sheriff) and he sounds rather compelling to me - basically I don't think he's making it up.








There's also this guy who remembers a time back in the day when people would 'pack up picnic lunch baskets' and go down to the set of high power lines 'to watch the flying saucers come down'.

The actuality of these objects seems pretty compelling to me though (trace evidence, physiological effects, animal reaction etc.) and always remember Keel once positing that conjunctivitis suffered by some UFO witnesses could be radiation caused by the object shifting into our visible spectrum.

Anyway whatever the case below is another case involving police officers witnessing a huge unknown object over power lines - the programme is a rather cheesy one but testimony can be found at 2:50.

A Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) is a unique state of matter that forms when bosons (a type of subatomic particle) are cooled to extremely low temperatures, close to absolute zero. At this point, a significant fraction of the bosons occupy the lowest quantum state, effectively behaving as a single entity, or "super atom". 

What are bosons? Bosons are a class of particles that obey Bose-Einstein statistics, meaning multiple bosons can occupy the same quantum state. Examples include photons, helium-4 atoms, and some other atomic and subatomic particles

What is the process? When bosons are cooled to extremely low temperatures (near absolute zero), their individual quantum mechanical wave functions begin to overlap. At a certain temperature (the critical temperature), a large fraction of the bosons collapse into the lowest energy state, forming a macroscopic quantum state. This is the Bose-Einstein condensate

A macroscopic quantum state refers to a quantum state that is shared collectively by a large number of particles, such that the entire system behaves as a single quantum entity rather than as individual particles. In the case of a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC):

• All the bosons occupy the same lowest-energy quantum state.
  
• Their individual wave functions overlap and merge into one unified wave function.
  
• This collective wave function describes the entire condensate, rather than each particle separately.
  

Something happens on the other end of the spectrum also, after plasma, need to find the text. We will end up in the afterlife on this topic though so difficult as I said above, this all goes into other dimensions. A simple test could be to record incense burning, the smoke but you need a mystic/psychic for that, difficult though and one must be respectful...

Not sure we are there yet to talk about this stuff

Also some other strange reports from the place including a row of five power poles having their 'tops burnt out' and fishermen witnessing a huge unknown object 'emitting a low frequency rumble' and 'throwing beams' over the turbines presumably causing another blackout.
