Why place the warping of space-time out there with black holes when gravity is right under our feet? Something that is already exotic shouldn't have to be embellished.

The tldr on this stuff is time and space is linked, space and gravity is also linked and therefore gravity and time is linked.

Here's Preston Dennett (who really knows his way around the APRO, NUFORC, NICAP, MUFON etc..files) describing another freaky incident.

The case involves a Frenchman hearing a whistling sound then seeing a low level, large, glowing, flattened sphere surrounded by a greenish halo which emitted 'light beams'.

Animal reaction from cows and dogs and apparently all three of the guy's alarm clocks stopped at the same time.

I just got a really chilly feeling thing about the investigation of explanation for these events. Like, the paths and speculation we try to piece together are some kind of garden path, a planned journey of trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Being toyed with, like a cat with a mouse. "Here, let's give you this to puzzle over, so you get all focused on this, so you stumble towards this, and can't stop because nothing ever quite resolves to firm ground..."

It reminded me of this comment from the White House:

The aide said that guys like me were 'in what we call the reality-based community,' which he defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.' Of course such things are all warm and fuzzy when it's our politicans doing it, because they love us, but aliens? Or something non-human?

Time


Time is a very abstract dimension. It can be specific to the microcosm or macrocosm. If you take a microcosmic timeline for example, and collapse that time dimension (death), so the macrocosmic and all other microcosmic time vectors continue on normally and experience time, but the collapsed time vector does not experience any of this time dimension at all, and while the continuing timelines may experience billions of years the recurring soul will only experience a single moment.

Mate I could not agree more.

Don't know if UFO research is a zero sum game but these objects (and occupants) definitely seem to be putting on some kind of 'display'.

Certain aspects from different cases in different countries also seem to line up and water collection, 'solid' looking light beams, pendulum motion, colour change during acceleration etc. all seems to be factors.

Regarding other freaky cases there are two Ecuadorian motor vehicle reports below (from the same year) which sound very strange - the Police report in the first case states how two rally drivers described their car being 'levitated' by a dense, yellowish light.

Afterwards their odometer showed they'd covered 52 KM (when they should have covered 127 KM) and the journey, which shouldn't have taken more than 75 minutes, had in fact taken 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Could be nothing but the 'curtain of light' described by the rally drivers sounds pretty similar to what Gary Wood described in Scotland (6:00).

The base lit the ground, although you really couldn’t see what it was lighting, that is to say, you couldn’t see through the light. A few seconds later, the light…how can I explain it? …retracted itself or drew up like a curtain, from bottom to top, and all that remained in view was an oval, whitish-yellow light that kept heading west until it vanished in the distance,” said Acevedo.

This other 1978 Argentine car levitation incident is also bizarre and being 'bathed in pleasant feelings' is similar to what the Devereaux family described.

..During the night of July 6, 1978, they travelled on board an old Chrysler 1933, in direction of the town of Maipu, when suddenly, to their great astonishment, their vehicle was deviated from its road and lifted in the airs, as if the force of gravitation did not intervene any more. At the same time, the engine of the car stopped inexplicably while the car's radio still functioned. They were thus in full rise, while "being bathed in pleasant feelings", according to their later statements.

It all gets a bit too technical for me after a certain point mate but did enjoy listening to this physicist who reckons time 'doesn't exist' - this other Professor also states there are objects outside our spacetime.

I don't pretend to have any idea what's going on but some of the ideas out there are truly fascinating so thanks for the link - apparently even Stephen Hawking had to do a U turn and admit time travel was 'possible'.

The embarrassing thing, however, was that no matter how hard physicists tried, they could not find a law to prevent time travel. Apparently, time travel seems to be consistent with the known laws of physics. Unable to find any physical law that makes time travel impossible, Hawking recently changed his mind. He made headlines when he said, 'Time travel may be possible, but it is not practical..'
