Let's talk about how Trump is stigmatizing autistic people.
"Advocacy organizations, including the Autism Society of America and the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network, stressed that the administration’s statements linking Tylenol use during pregnancy with autism helped spread unproven claims while stigmatizing people who are autistic."
Autism Advocates Blast Trump Administration Announcement As ‘Dehumanizing’
"“Our Council of Autistic Advisors shared that the language and tone of the press conference caused profound hurt across the Autism community,” the Autism Society of America said in a statement. “To describe an individual as being at the heart of a ‘horrible, horrible crisis’ that is ‘destroying families’ is not only inaccurate, it is dehumanizing and dangerous.”"

Did anyone say this was the only cause? No that did not happen. Did anyone say stop all other research on this topic we got it!. No they did not. What they did say is hey we found this John Hopkins backed study that shows there is something to take a look at between Tylenol and autism how about we start here in trying to reduce the amount of Tylenol taking to only matters of life or death and see what that yields us.

I've said it from the beginning -- and it has not changed.

They are not trying to find a solution, they are trying to push another replacement drug in it's place.
"(September 5, 2025, 4:00 pm ET) This afternoon, The Wall Street Journal reported that HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will announce later this month that Tylenol has been identified as a cause of autism, and that a medicine derived from folate can be used to treat symptoms in some people."

I've already posted sources where pesticides are associated with autism. Now here's forever chemicals in the oil and gas industry.
"Forever Chemicals From Oil and Gas Sector
PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are synthetic chemicals used in oil and gas operations for their waterproof, stain-proof, and non-stick properties. These chemicals are toxic in minuscule amounts and do not break down in the environment, posing significant health risks. The use of PFAS in fracking has been documented in over 1,200 wells across six U.S. states, with companies like ExxonMobil and Chevron involved. The lack of full disclosure of these chemicals raises concerns about their widespread use and potential health impacts on communities near these wells.
---------
"Now, a new study published in the European Journal of Neuroscience has uncovered a shocking link between PFAS — also known as “forever chemicals — and autism in men."
How forever chemicals target developing male brains — and what this means for their autism risk
"Until recently, PFHxA was considered a “safer” replacement for older, more notorious forever chemicals that have been phased out.
But this study suggests we may have just swapped one problem for another — especially when it comes to protecting developing male brains."

In my experience -- parents of Autistic children (and others born different) -- are the most loving/caring people I have ever met.
Trump putting out ignorant irresponsible crap like this is an insult. I'm still betting there's money behind it.
If any Autistic parent is a Trump supporters -- they need to think really hard about that.

Quote:Quote:Findings In this birth cohort study of 345 children, acetaminophen exposure detected in meconium was associated with increased odds of ADHD and altered brain connectivity between the frontoparietal and default mode networks to sensorimotor cortices. Altered frontoparietal-sensorimotor cortex connectivity mediated an association of prenatal acetaminophen exposure with hyperactivity. And here is the study that also says it can be Tylenol as well.

No that's not what's going on. It was a direct target on Tylenol and they said nothing about reducing the amount, they said 'don't take it' .
It's not what we say her on DI, it's what Trump and his unqualified staff said regarding only Tylenol and what they didn't say about every other association that can be linked to autism.
