Another point that most likely triggered the initial post bans involved directing the comment directly at another member. They have been a strong contributor with a lot of heated debate over the years.
Quote:One good thing about this site, if we had this conservation face to face I would be on assault charges.

I have tried to be diplomatic, civil and respectful through all of our debate. I could see the topic caused them pain too. I tried to help. But looking at their more recent fruit of their works on topics like Palestine, they are just a sick, evil, deceptive snake with poison dripping from the fangs of their language.

With others in this cultural bias becoming strong on the ATS moderation process, I have no hard feelings in leaving the ATS ship.

It was a day that changed my life. Taken much longer to understand what it was really all about. Leads to many dark places.

Like covid, I know I cannot change it alone. At least being aware of just how bad some of it does get has helped avoid some of the worst that came, and is yet to come.

One thing I never hear mentioned is that Building 7 was a specially-constructed secure building, and housed offices of the United State's Space Command.

What space are you talking about? The judicial space of the likes of Enron being naughty? Go deep enough into that hole and does the secret space program surface? Maybe? Some kind of alien force in the background is on the radar.

In dealing with this mess I do respect the effort the likes of Neuron Flux and Lazy 88 has put into this. It does help provide a clearer picture with their research. As for dealing with some physical fundamentals, a heated desire in sharing physical realities exists.

To make it clear, he is struggling to find some way out with his discourse. He has already made his own grave still trapped  in the 9/11 wreckage.. I have tried to help him find some logical way out. If the easy way don't work, there is always the hard way. Nature will do what nature does.

If I did come face to face tomorrow, in some ways it is like a brother in arms, trapped in a war neither of us wanted, but had to work through as best we can. In some ways I do love him and glad he was around. In other ways I do hate him and glad to see Liz Cheney team up with Kamala.

To resolve any mess does get messy. I know Trump was not on the 9/11 plan with his first remarks. A few days days later he got told what to say if he wants a future in New York. This thing is bigger than him. Drain the swamp has a vibe, the people know it. As for the reality?

So for myself, it has been an education in human nature. It hurts and can see why the the rest of the galactic community don't wont humans involved. One moment from the storm area 51 event was trying to salvage to judicial system. It is built on thousands of years of human dumb stuff looking for a better way. The aliens like that. So do I in looking for a fair call when entering a foreign land.

Well considered remarks. One of the most difficult aspects of moving forward past trauma and abuse can be accepting that you will most likely never know. Was he like that all along? Was any of it real? How often did he cheat on me? What was he thinking, planning back then when I thought he was sincere?

Accepting, and moving forward. Is it absolutely required that it be "resolved"? Does that make everything that might be a future unsolid ground, potentially untrustworthy, able to hurt once again, unacceptable?

Young naive trust is like young naive love -- nothing is ever quite like that again. It cannot be recaptured. Many spend their lives trying.

Now, and with new hearing arriving next week, as a thought experiment, imagine you were in possession of a somewhat large cache of alien artifacts and technology. You would want to examine them, research them, replicate them, protect them, and have certain others involved in the effort. Where would you house them to do such a thing? In the remote desert, inconvenient and remote to academics and experts? Where it might be obvious to your competition who is coming and going? In a hanger on a military base, surrounded by curious grunts? The places every Hollywood movie has told us they must be? Or perhaps you'd want them someplace "safe" yet accessible, in that any entity mounting a retrieval effort would need to undertake a large and visible operation, with potentially unacceptable civilian casualties...

There is no light in rabbit holes. But we needn't fear them.

One of the big turning points in policy was around Roswell. The government sent a clear message to the media in how to handle this topic. With the scars of WW2 still fresh and conflicts still ongoing, the 'loose lips sink ships' approach was accepted.

80 years on, is this still the right way to handle the topic? There have been a lot of inventions from the reverse engineering going on, has provided clues on where to look for various functions and capabilities. I expect many mysteries still remain. It is reasonable for the military to have the first crack at any new alien tech. Some of it might be potentially dangerous in ways we do not fully understand yet. It is more appropriate that someone who signed their life to the nation and willing to confront dangerous situations go first.

But when does all this disinformation and psychological war end in trying to keep a lid on the basic fundamental realities of life in this universe and our place in it? In a world divided by varying religions beliefs, will the acknowledgement of alien disclosure help us find what it is that we do have in common?

In opening the alien can of worms it will most likely raise more questions than answers, at least for quite some time until a clearer picture of the situation can be established. There will still be a lot of restrictions around the more harmful aspects of alien technology. As for how the map on Non Human Intelligence is shaping up is a good starting point.

While the public remains blind on such matter, the risks of exploitation and ignorance will remain as a weakness.

I get the overall harmony between the 9/11 details being 'restrained' and the information control in the entire "UFO" topic.

It speaks to me, of an overall inclination to 'posture' by the government... that their assumed "authority" and "wisdom" justifies the channeling or outright sequestering of information that 'someone' in their group can designate as "dangerous" or "provocative."

In that direction of thought comes the notion that we, the public, need to be protected from truth.
But the actions seem to telegraph that it is not "the public" that's being protected... but someone else is.

It's an interesting nexus, isn't it? "History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes!"

In the same way, theories of 9/11 rhyme. 20 years later, and we're still crashing the planes of our conspiracy theories into the rubble-piles of dusty destroyed evidence, and expecting some edifice of explanation to finally reconstitute itself. The power of magic is in the irresolvable.

UFOs rhyme with that day. So does gold. Remember the vaults underneath the building? It's all a banker's war! Secret cabals.

Perhaps the UFOs are the bankers! Mayer Rothschild is said to have been given his vision of economic "circuitry" during ergotic communion with non-terrestrial entities, you know, and built his empire from those insights.

Oh humanity! The real resolution is the mysteries we befriend along the way.
