I do feel sorry for those who will lose their jobs except for the ones confused on which bathroom to use or the people who will not spank a misbehaving child yet see no problem with castrating them. 

The government needs to be cleansed of waste and fraud and go back to doing important things like equal law for all not for just the peon citizens but for all; even those who think they are untouchable.

ENDING TAXPAYER SUBSIDIZATION OF BIASED MEDIA: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order ending the taxpayer subsidization of National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).

• NPR and PBS receive tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer funds each year, primarily from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).
  
• The Order ceases federal funding to NPR and PBS to the maximum extent allowed by law.
  
• It also ceases indirect funding to PBS and NPR by prohibiting local public radio and television stations and any other recipients of CPB funds from using taxpayer dollars to support these organizations.
  
• The Order mandates that the CPB revise its 2025 General Provisions to explicitly prohibit direct or indirect funding to NPR and PBS.
  
• It directs all federal agencies to terminate any direct or indirect funding to NPR and PBS and to review existing grants and contracts for compliance.
  
• The Order instructs the FCC and relevant agencies to investigate whether NPR and PBS have engaged in unlawful discrimination.

Then I grew up and started listening...

The editorialization and narrative spin were an embarrassment to experience.

Lengthy commercials, unmoderated activist editorials, practically no balanced journalism at all,...

It's just that our tax money won't be paying for them to mouth off left wing rhetoric.
They have to come up with their own money to pay for them to do that.

There are better things to pay for ...
housing for American homeless elderly, food for American school children who are hungry ...

This is a good thing.  Per our own laws the government should have never been paying for this. We have all the freedom of speech in the world but people want to confuse that with how these things are funded.  The government should not own news sources like radio and tv stations. Can you imagine if this were a news channel and the government paid for it and Trump was on it all the time talking about his vision for this country.  The left would have that taken down in and instant and trying to get him one some kind of charges for it.  They dont grasp that funding NPR and the like is the same thing.  its only been funded this long because it aligns with the left but why should the tax payers be forced to pay for it?
