For the record: In 2016 NATO told Ukraine that it had no realistic chance of even being considered for NATO membership for at least another 20-25 years......2036 at the very earliest.

Obviously this all changed the moment Putin ordered his troops to invade Ukraine.

Which makes the NGO/MIC corporate involvement such as with contractors like my father circa 2006-2012 even more dodgy, in my humble opinion.  
Just like Eisenhower said, they will expand and create issues just to foment more profit.  NATO is just the public skin.
