Trump and Epstein were great buddies
The resident cynic in me says... "You will never see the evidence.. not all of it... ever.
Remember the past."

But I can't abide not saying "What the hell?  If this were Jesus, Tyreese and, Ahmed...
they'd be rotting in jail until they figured it all out."

But not the billionaires.... no no no ... we can't have the Elites facing consequences without
a half century of "padding."

(Really though, I mostly fear for the "guilty by association crowd"... some of them will be "used"
in the media showcase...  Just like with Diddy.  Their playbook is incredibly stretched.)

what i think is that the FBI had evidence all along and they were covering it up
Which is what I consistently stated
And which you railed against
Claiming there is ZERO evidence of any criminality

So now I'm curious what your take is on this sudden about face from Trump
When the vote to release files is set for next week

Again.  All you had was innuendo and kept going on about Trump when Biden had four years with the FBI director’s daughter as a prosecutor on the Epstein case but now you think the FBI is suspect.

You ever think just maybe Trump is innocent in regard to Epstein crimes.  I know lots of people with legal woes over drugs.  Some friends over the years. And yet I have never taken, have never sold, and haven’t been present when people have taken illegal drugs to my knowledge.  Stayed clear of parties that were suspect.

In your hyperfixation to defend Trump’s honor, it seems very convenient for you to ignore the fact that I have consistently pointed out corruption from both sides

Yes, I think Trump's FBI is suspect but I've also discussed suspicion about Biden's FBI, too

I have said many, many times both Democrats and Republicans are implicated as are world leaders and people with no political affiliation at all

That's the difference between you and me , where you've only ever pointed to Biden and the FBI director’s daughter's failure to provide criminal evidence

You've repeatedly made remarks like, Epstein was investigated for years by multiple state and federal agencies, yet no evidence of trafficking was uncovered

Yet, here we are on the verge of a brand new investigation into Epstein's crimes

Crimes that don't exist according to you

You haven't offered an opinion on Trump opening up a new investigation against the Democrats and the timing of it

Do you think Pam Bondi is going to pull all her resources to investigate a "good ole boys club"?

I've never accused Trump of committing crimes with Epstein

What I have accused him of is covering up information

Unless some brand new evidence has magically fallen from the sky, it looks like I'm right
The party of pedophile protectors is certainly putting in a strong effort for their pedophile leader. The left refrained from utilizing the files as they aimed to safeguard members within their party, which is utterly repulsive. Currently, younger and less swayed members of the party are striving to have all the files made public, regardless of the wishes of older Democrats.

There's an interesting article over on the Alternet website about The Epstein revelations exposing a vast network of secrecy and privilege protecting Trump and other politicians.

https://www.alternet.org/alternet-exclus...velations/
Quote:The New York Times reported that Donald Trump personally called Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and then had Attorney General Pam Bondi, her deputy Todd Blanche, and FBI Director Kash Patel take her into the top-secret, no-recording-devices-allowed Situation Room to urge her to drop her support for releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. Trump apparently also tried to reach Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) for the same reason.

This week's newly surfaced details about Epstein and Trump again reveal something far larger than the tawdry specifics of their relationship, as grotesque as those are.
They point to a structural crisis at the heart of American democracy.
As Republican President Theodore Roosevelt said:
Quote:“The exposure and punishment of public corruption is an honor to a nation, not a disgrace. The shame lies in toleration, not in correction…“If we fail to do all that in us lies to stamp out corruption we can not escape our share of responsibility for the guilt. The first requisite of successful self-government is unflinching enforcement of the law and the cutting out of corruption.”
These newest documents, including Epstein’s correspondences with the journalist Michael Wolff about how Epstein’s knowledge of Trump’s involvement could be used against him — long before Trump was involved in politics (apparently to blackmail him, something Epstein apparently advised Vladimir Putin about how to do) — reveal a pattern we’ve seen throughout history.

When a president insists that scrutiny of his possible crimes is illegitimate, he’s not defending his innocence: he’s attacking a foundational principle of the American republic. As John Adams proclaimed:
Quote:“We are a government of laws, not of men.”
If only that were true today. If only more than a tiny handful of Republicans believed in that principle.
From Socrates’ collapsing Greece and Caligula’s Rome through the dictatorships of the 20th century and today’s Russia and Hungary, history shows that democracies don’t survive when their leaders live above the law and beyond the reach of legitimate inquiry and a free press.

I think this line from FDR "The exposure and punishment of public corruption is an honor. The shame lies in toleration" should speak to all, no matter which political party you support or even which western country you belong too.

Apparently, Trump is again discussing a possible pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell.  Thumbdown

If he did decide to do something as foolish as pardoning a convicted trafficker and sex offender.

Could that be the final nail in the coffin?

If im honest, i don't think the diehard sorts of his base would even blink an eye.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

So Epstein was such a good buddy of Trump that he helped Democrats to take out Trump... I mean if he had anything concrete on Trump he couldve just gave it to them at that point, instead of all of this effort.

This just disproves the whole narrative going on in this thread, which so far is a lot of wishful thinking and speculating. Trump might have been a buddy at some point, but that obviously changed significantly.
