There are many resources that document the abuse Jean Luc Brunel's models experienced
Ex-models describe the industry as a "meat market". A way for wealthy old men to party with young girls
They describe how Brunel threw parties for his rich friends and his models were expected to "escort" the men. If they declined, they didn't work, they didn't get paid
Models revealed being drugged and raped by Brunel and his friends
They talk about constant parties and orgies they were expected to participate in
Brunel wasn't the only rapist. Many girls were victimized. Have any of his "friends" besides Epstein been exposed? Does the fact they haven't been exposed mean the parties and rape didn't happen?
Brunel lived in Trump Towers for a time
Trump's modeling agency ran for 18 years until he shut it down in 2017
Trump joked about having the freedom to walk in on the girls while they were getting dressed
Trump has another friend from the modeling industry, John Casablancas, the infamous founder of Elite Model Management.
Casablancas was not only a titan of the industry, but a figure long accused of exploiting his power over underage girls. He is widely considered one of the architects of the modern “model scout” system that gave agencies direct access to young women, often housed in agency-owned apartments and financially dependent on the men managing them.
In the 1980s, Casablancas, then in his 40s, had a sexual relationship with 15-year-old model Stephanie Seymour. Seymour would later become a supermodel, but the relationship began when she was still legally a child.
Casablancas faced no consequences and went on to marry another teenage model, 17-year-old Aline Wermelinger. When questioned about his conduct, he told New York Magazine:
“I like young women… I’ve never made any apologies. I’ve always been who I am.”
His unapologetic behavior and open pattern of pursuing underage girls wasn’t seen as a scandal within the industry — it was often tolerated, enabled, or ignored.
Elite Model Management and the Normalization of Exploitation
Multiple former employees and models described Elite as a place where older men were given privileged access to teenage girls under the guise of career advancement. Investigations by BBC, CBS, and The Guardian revealed that Elite:
Recruited girls as young as 13
Exploited power imbalances
Created a pipeline from modeling into elite sexual circles
Casablancas helped normalize grooming and abuse as a standard feature of the modeling economy, not an aberration.
Casablancas’s associate, Jean-Luc Brunel, ran Karin Models and later MC2 — agencies funded by Jeffrey Epstein.
Ghislaine Maxwell was not officially tied to any agency, but was often present at modeling-related events, including fashion week parties, beauty contests, and recruitment tours.
She operated as Epstein’s recruiter, fixer, and gatekeeper — a social connector between the worlds of fashion, politics, and wealth. She knew Zampolli. She knew Brunel. She knew Trump.
