I've seen a few comments now from members saying 'to those on left bla bla bla'
You all still seem caught on the party politics line, and not the fact that Trump has done everything to try to make this go away (including calling MAGA dumb) after claiming he'd release the  Epstein files to win votes.

He had a proven 15 year friendship with Epstein (but later said he hardly knew the guy?), regularly used the Lolita express, made countless predatory comments about young girls, dozens of testimonies about his lewd and nasty behaviour with young girls and women, it was proven in court he was a rapist. He has now moved Maxwell to a low security prison, in his attempt at a slow motion pardon.

If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck!

Members who continue pushing division through 'left vs right' rhetoric seem unaware that Trump lost a huge amount of support from his own base over this issue

No one on the left will ever believe anything that comes from the Trump Administration.  They will always support the opposite.

 

With that being said, I wish Trump would come out as "Pro-Breathing".

 

That doesn’t seem too unique. Partisans typically don’t trust opposition. Independents are often skeptical of who’s in power, no matter their side.

On this issue though, Trump didn’t do himself any favors by changing the narrative in such short timeframes.

Many in his admin have been pushing for the release of files for years. There was phase one, which was mostly redacted, and offered very little that wasn’t already out there. Phase 2 and beyond never came. They said Epstein killed himself and said they’d offer video proof, except the camera wasn’t even pointed at his cell, or even had it in view. It was also missing a few minutes. Then Bondi had a memo that said there was nothing else available to release, no more files, an no one else complicit in trafficking. Maxwell had only trafficked to one person in their narrative, and Acosta gave blanket immunity under the sweetheart deal to everyone else involved (I guess only Maxwell?)… but just didn’t call her by name.

Now there are more files, but it’s all a democrat hoax. One that they never talked about or leaked. 

It seems the only people who trust him on this matter are loyalists. How could anyone else?

Is it in evidence?  Will there be a "chain of custody" protection on it?  Will it be subject to prosecutorial analysis?  Will the authorities establish a "report?"  Who will "edit" it?  The party?
