Trump and Epstein were great buddies

No matter who is president, there are going to be discussions that are critical of them. That’s part of living in a society where you can be critical of your government. It’s not obsessive psychosis to be engaged in discourse about the nation, rather it’s a result in being in a country that was founded on self governance (to an extent).
Yes, but clearly for some the topic is Trump... They never veer...

Not realizing the nature and conduct of "epstein the prop" seems out of bounds for you...

Did he not have many "such" friends?

Is there no pattern there to discern?

Is that not part of this topic by definition?

But no... it's all about how cleverly some can express their hate of the Trump "beast."

I would blurt out a very rude comment about disingenuous political zealotry and activism-motivated thread drifting...
... But do I really have to?

His admin has made this a talking point over the years. Trump himself made vague implications to Clinton and Prince Andrew while he was running the first time in 2016, others in the admin have even made it part of their careers like Kash and Bongino. They released phase one, implying there would be more phases. Then they all changed their tune and said Epstein killed himself, provided video that was stitched and had missing time (and not even pointed at the cell). They also said there was no one else involved, and no more evidence. Then they said there is more evidence, but it’s fake and a hoax.

So this area of the forum is directly about Epstein, the current admin closed the case (and maybe they’re opening it?)

I don’t see how we avoid having Trump not be part of the conversation if the most activity in the matter is happening as we speak, at the direction of his admin.

I always try my best not to be hyperbolic, or use aggressive language when discussing topics, as I just don’t see how it adds much of value… But there is no shortage of that, aimed at about any person or group in politics. Much of it is here, and I see it go both ways politically. But for some reason many act as if Trump should be off limits because of TDS, or obsessive psychosis, take your pick.

Maybe he has gotten a little more flak than most politicians, but he certainly dishes it out too. He’s ran on being off the cuff, so I imagine that riles some people up.

But look at any protest of the former presidents, and I promise you can find signs depicting them all as Hitler. It’s not new or unique.
A lot of big players were "buddies" with Epstein and seems to have eluded attention, with the notable exception of the Duke of Pork.

I don't "hate" Trump, but I dislike him as a person, nothing to do with politics.

The Swamp still seems to be quite full still, and stinky....

I agree with everything you stated, however, there are elements here, mostly from outside of the US, that are psychotic in their bias towards President Trump and attempt to interject their obsessiveness into every topic, no matter the relevance.

The thread is titled Trump and Epstein were great buddies, isn't it?

From the start many wanted to show how similar Trump and Epstein's behaviour and ideas of women were, but many jumped to defend Trump's antics and cry fake. Both sides have used Epstein 'the prop' but who has back peddled and changed the story, who then told their followers to forget it??
If you fear people expressing their concerns about Trump because of all the shenanigans over the Epstein files and video, maybe your trust in your leader isn't as steady as you think?

If you want to resort to name calling and rude comments, go ahead, but people have asked for evidence showing Trump and Epstein's friendship could've been more than just neighbourly chats. That has to include posting all the circumstantial evidence of Trumps behaviour around young women, doesn't it?? After all Epstein was being tried on charges related to that.

Edited to add....
Do you really think it would be any different if the thread was entitled "Clinton and Epstein were great buddies"
I don't think so, people would bring up his known connections to the Lolita express and use of the Oval office for more than running the country.

No psychosis or obsession here.  I'm not a lefty, before you say so.

I would have thought he is relevant, seeing as how he is the topic of the thread?

As for being outside the US, so what?

Associates perhaps but "Great Buddies" is really stretching is. FFS, Trump banned Epstein from his properties and completely disassociated himself form him once he discovered what a creep Epstein was.

Taking the laughable assertion that they were "Great Buddies" and morphing the discussion into the not so thinly veiled accusations that Trump is a pedo, not only as bad but probably worse than Epstein, goes beyond the pale for civil discourse. It takes this this thread into the realm of yet another OMB bashfest and nothing more.

I thought he fell out with Epstein over a property deal?  As per what the OP wrote.

I haven't seen anyone suggesting he is worse than Epstein.

That is the name of the thread posted by member annonentity with a link to a video about evidence provided by Michael Wolff.

There's a difference between accusations and posting links to the many testimonies from young women. It also shows how people seem to see 'pedo' as some dirty priest molesting alter boys or abuse of very young children. When it concerns 14-16 year olds being sexualised or abused, many seem to not associate that with paedophilia??
