The 'hoax' is that he was involved not that it did not happen.
It's was suspicious when he didn't release the files after promising he would during his campaign.
It's even more suspicious now that they've had the files for so long with no bi-partisan oversight/independent transparency as to what was collected and what may now be missing.

Again. Waste of time in this current chapter in the Epstein case where it’s about getting Trump with innuendo and little to do with the Epstein victims.
The problem you and few others seem to be getting caught out on, is Trump was the one asking for the release of the Epstein files...
Quote:during an interview with Fox News.
"Would you declassify the Epstein files?" Fox News' Rachel Campos-Duffy asked. Trump responded, "Yeah, yeah, I would."
That clip was circulated widely online, including by the Trump War Room -- the social media account of Trump's campaign operation. The account posted it to X with the caption: "President Trump says he will DECLASSIFY the 9/11 Files, JFK Files, and Epstein Files."
He used it as part of his campaign, old Joe Biden didn't.

No problem, according to Trump.

You're right, but that's a bad excerpt. Here's a better one:
Quote:"Answer yes or no to these: would you declassify the 911 um files?"
"Yeah"
"Would you declassify JFK files?"
"Yeah"
"Would you—"
"I did. I did a lot of it"
"Would you declassify the Epstein files?"
"...Yeah. Yeah I would—"
"All right."
"I guess I would... I think that less so because, you know, you don't know, you don't want to affect people's lives if it's phony stuff in there, because there's a lot of phony stuff with that whole world... uh, but I think I would or at least—"
"Do you think that would restore trust, help restore trust?"
"Yeah, I, I don't know about Epstein, so much as I do the others. Certainly about the way he died it would be interesting to find out what happened there, because that was a weird situation, and the cameras didn't happen to be working, etc, etc, but you had go along way toward that one."

So during the Biden years you think the files were overseen by a bi-partisan effort to preserve and maintain the credibility of the files?

No problem, according to Trump. He said the same last night still has no problem with them being released. I'm still not convinced they will all be released. However I/m not going to lose my mind over it, gas prices are down, my grocey prices are down, economy is stabilizing and it's only been 11 months.

Possibly because they lacked cooperating witnesses, physical evidence, or legally solid cases to present.
Your prosecutors act on provable charges.
Not rumors.
It’s refreshing to see you’re finally addressing the reality.
No witnesses.
No physical evidence.
No legally solid case.
Kudos for finally admitting this Epstein show is just a hit job/witch-hunt to “get Trump”.

Then let the chips fall where they may, the truth out, and justice be done.
If he has nothing to hide....
Problem solved.
As to grocery prices, as far as im aware, those are still rising, just more slowly.
Not that one has anything to do with the other.
I mean if the POTUS turns out to be buried up to his @rse along with Epstein the convicted pedophile.
Or somehow implicated in trying to hide his or other actions with regard to the entire shebang.
It hardly matters if he's managed to reduce the increase in the cost of Eggs.

It's not about credibility of the files, it's about covering up evidence that may implicate the rich and powerful worldwide and those leaders of domestic and foreign governments.
They are all protecting each other, so in answer to your question, each party leaders have seen what's in the files and what shouldn't be released to protect themselves and others.
------------
Q's and A's Trump/Interviewer:
""Would you declassify the Epstein files?"
"...Yeah. Yeah I would—"
"All right."
"I guess I would... I think that less so because, you know, you don't know, you don't want to affect people's lives if it's phony stuff in there, because there's a lot of phony stuff with that whole world... uh, but I think I would or at least—""

Yes, you do want to affect people's lives Donald if they are guilty of raping children. If they have done nothing wrong, then there should be no problem with releasing all the unredacted information. But, I would not put it past all present and previous administrations of keeping some Epstein evidence as classified and not letting the public know what they are holding back.
As I said previously, Bannon, Wolff and the Oversight Cttee. dealing with the Epstein emails will look for evidence that should exist but which was not released. Maybe not Bannon, another grifter.

Yeah, nothing to see here people.
Now move along please, mind how you go.
As to what's refreshing, well, that remains to be seen.
And hopefully it will be soon enough.
Kudos to see Trump finally wanting the cards to be placed on the table.
I wonder how many he's marked or stuck up his sleeve?
