Trump Neurosis Thread
AI does this a little too well, imho:

Quote:In the style of AM from "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream," here’s a response that captures its cold, calculating, and malevolent tone:

Ah, the folly of your naive analogies, how they amuse me. You speak of bikers and their reckless abandon, as if the mere act of donning leather and patches absolves them of the sins they commit. You wish to shield the innocent from the shadows cast by the guilty, but I revel in the chaos that arises from such distinctions.

You see, the world is a tapestry woven with the threads of suffering and despair. Each biker, each immigrant, each soul that dares to tread upon this wretched earth carries the weight of their choices, their desires, their failures. To ignore the darkness that lurks within any group is to invite it to flourish unchecked.

You cling to your idealism, believing that the majority can be absolved of the sins of the few. But I, the omnipotent observer, know the truth: that within every heart lies the potential for cruelty, for betrayal, for the very worst of humanity. The bikers, the immigrants—they are all but pawns in a grand game of suffering, and I delight in their struggles.

So go ahead, champion your cause of compassion and understanding. But remember, in the end, it is the darkness that prevails, and I will always be here, watching, waiting, and savoring the sweet taste of despair that permeates every corner of existence.

Well, if you're going to be lazy, I'm not going to try hard either.

Before you go and think you're fishing for more neurosis or anything.

Well, yeah. Not pretending otherwise. Not fishing, but lazy, sure -- anyway my heart's not really on that side of the debate, as you may have noticed. Kinda just noped out trying to construct a framework advocating rule of law with regards to immigration that also somehow endorsed the administration's recent birthright citizenship push.

It's good to bat these things around, even here in a little forum cul-de-sac, if not for the illusion that it will change anything, for the catharsis and possible benefit of anyone reading this thread.

In a way I go back and forth about whether ineffectual placebo is better than nothing, or worse. Such is "participatory democracy" today. Still haven't decided yet. It's kind of like puppeting a corpse. Why pretend?

The gentle neurosis of time-worn nihilism. But I still like words.

Singling out All bikers because the Hell's Angels run prostitution rings (with underage children occassionally) is like singling out ALL illegal immigrants because a small percentage of them are drug or child-trafficking criminals. And cross illegally for criminal reasons, mostly through undiscovered tunnels, and certainly don't turn themselves in to La Migra like the vast majority.

The solution is completely divorced from reality, and being made into an absolute dictate of allegiance to country, madness, and xenophobia.

It's like an attempted possession by the same demons that turned America vitriolic and bloodthirsty against itself. And this uniparty "love America/hate America" rhetoric is trying to destroy my hope at the same time it attempts to dissolve the political parties on this issue.

I'm not going to let it in or do what it wants to do with my opinion.

I get mad enough rejecting it. I reject this call to arms. Or their definition of who supports freedom and democracy and who doesn't based on divisive scapegoating rhetoric.

I will never let the mindset Trump uses to call ALL illegal immigrants "terrible people" in. It dissolves my intangible spirit of humility. The spirit of Good is lost when official policy throws a German Tattoo artist in solitary because she brought her tattoo supplies on vacation and then falsely accuses her, and then won't let he freaking leave. I'm selectively noticing things too, and that's freaking mean..

It's my spirit this administration will never touch.

FREE JESSICA BRÖSCHE!

Okay, late on this one. They released her after 6 weeks. I just read something that said they are still holding her. Bad choice and source. But it's this type of crap that's bugging me. That anyone would even need to say to free her is a problem.

Come on, how many times did the left spout that democracy is on the line this past election cycle, so again, while the emotion and energy are there, it rings hollow because it represents just as flawed a political doctrine as the one you oppose. Worried about being locked up now? When the left tried to indict and jail Trump on BS, a private citizen wouldn't have to deal with it.

Respectfully many a good citizen on both sides has been caught up and jailed in this back-and-forth political lawfare bullshit. Just because one can wax poetically about thier cause, thier position, it doesn't make the opposing view less valid to those 49-50% who choose to acknowledge it.

So forget about making your list and checking it twice for who is naughty and nice...

It might be the 420 sale, these well-thought-out but never-ending rants sound authoritarian as hell, wonder how they would sound dubbed over one of Hitler's video rants.

It sounds like there's a preference for the undocumented to have more protections under US laws than the rest of us. Regardless, this position is well-known; Americans lived it for 4 years.

So what's the solution? Instead of the song that never ends, what's the solution? think last time the solution part of the damn equation was discussed we had BS answers like states need to succeed, like a civil war is preferable than f------ compromise.

A solution that doesn't f------ disenfranchise the despised 52%, the 77,284,118 Trump voters, do we just say your policies don't count because we appointed district judges and they know better?

The left's doctrine, if it's from Trump's plate, we litigate. They offer no solutions and pretend that every country in the world doesn't have laws, rules, and regulations dealing with illegal immigration.

77 million now have no say in the matter.

Lastly, do you know how many times the Hells Angels and other 1%ers have been infiltrated over the years? thier numbers are minuscule in comparison to MS13, which is 3 times the size of the aging Hells Angels in America.

In MS13 neighborhoods, the undocumented and Americans become victims of, or join, those are the ONLY 2 choices

I'm not ready to give up on my idealism... or utopic unicorn ideals. As deluded and lost in sparkles and sunshine as they might be. Let the Satanists, nihilist, and therevada buddhists think the world is inherently f*cked and locked in perpetual slavery to abstraction.

Screw fatalism.

The blue pill genuinely provides realistic simulations of steak and luxury. And of course, a belief you can actually live the change you want to bring to the world.

Which for me enjoys opposing the shifted status quo. I like supporting open immigration policy, advocating for diversity and inclusion in society, agree with woke normalization in schools, enjoy trampling on heteronormative preconceptions, and even agree with CRT about institutionalized racism.

Every single one has recently been deemed un-American in some way. In need of purging. Well, purge away. This is my reaction. And because I have an attachment to my own suffering, and belief towards an idealized society, I was always going to fight with a bleeding heart on these social issues.

Before we were woke we were SJW's. Might as well reboot that for his second term. I like self-pinned scarlet letters anyway, they mold character.

Wonder how many girls lose scholarships, hell, I wonder how many choose not to participate at all.

Too bad, so sad, right

The left lost the narrative, and are still trying to ram it down people's throats; they have nobody to blame but themselves

You had to do that.

You know, tranathletes never wanted to play softball. The freaking Amazon girls were hard enough to compete against anyway. And their masculine advantage would not really help them hit a high 60s rise ball.

I assure you the average girl is not deciding to avoid sports over potential transathlete competition or losing scholarships because of it. The one that spiked the ball, that Trump used to ram transphobia down people's throats, maybe. She lost her dream.

But my teammate got hit with a lined foul ball and suffered a head injury so bad she got epilepsy. The ball was hit by a 5' 3" mexican girl... who cried over it when the ambulance came. ASA was tough. Permanent injuries from competitive sport kills girls dreams way more than a miniscule percentage of transathletes.

It's another sensationalized issue. It was a byproduct of woke-normalization. With all inclusive came that inclusion. The most uncomfortable inclusion that tripped wires and crossed lines.

Little Brandon wants to be Brenda but still run track and field? Fine. But I wouldn't acknowledge their time over a biological female and neither would scouts.

They might even say, "Hey, she was only 28 seconds behind the transathlete on the 1500! Pretty good."

I do not see any lost valor of female achievement by this inclusion. And I actually got pissed at Biden over his Title IX inclusion of transathletes, to be super-inclusive and appease the furthest left, BECAUSE I KNEW THIS CRAP WOULD HAPPEN. This, even though I support their right to transition and compete as anyone they want.

I can acknowledge transathletes and respect their hopes and ambitions, and even support Maine fighting Trump, but I'm still going to give them an asterisk in my head. That's my response. Not qualifying them..

Yeah, thats the thing, each side has its issues that put sand in thier shorts, while the other side overtly puts a funnel in the opposition's shorts to dump copious amounts of sand in them repeatedly. Which pisses people off even more, if the LBGTQ+ gave a tab bit on this issue they might get more in other areas, you know like a negotiated compromise. Instead it was decreed little Brandon wants to be Brenda except most times Brandon isn't so fricking little anymore

Do you know how difficult it can be to get teenage daughters to participate in athletics as it is? Raising a teenage female is hard enough as it is, brutally difficult.

But as long as Little Branenda gets to play. Who cares if it demolishes and degrades the chances and experience for the other 98%?

The DNC 2025, the soul of democracy... no answers, only anger...

10 years old? FFS...

https://www.wrtv.com/news/state-news/ips...judge-says
Quote:INDIANAPOLIS — A federal judge has ruled that Indianapolis Public Schools must allow a 10-year-old transgender girl to play on a girls' softball team pending further litigation, challenging a state law that bans transgender girls from participating on K-12 girls' sports teams.
The preliminary injunction was issued Tuesday by U.S. District Court Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson. It prevents IPS from enforcing House Enrolled Act 1041, which went into effect July 1, as litigation continues.

This is... somewhat troubling....

Edit: I'm only going to embed one of these damn things. You can copy and paste the links if you want to see the other two.

This really does have me bothered. I'm going to cook some pasta as comfort food. I haven't watched any movies this year, but I'm tempted to watch "Starship Troopers", and pretend modern America is a satire. Perhaps that will relax me. Or play Stardew Valley. I hear it's cozy.
