I really do think much of what you said is the misdirection. To blame the left.
I'll share my point in more detail and preface it with, THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION.
I think the great conspiracy is inverted.
Like the conspiracy really is to get people to think Dems and RINOs (formerly called moderates) are behind this mass effort to [insert antichrist] through a barrage of vitriolic and misleading media.
Turn something organic (such as all the grassroots initiatives that became woke policy, and yes, pushed too far) into something deliberate and thus more fight-worthy. Insert a grand puppet-master where there is none. In essence, to take advantage of a progressively building cultural ideological change and erroneously insert a villain (via conspiracy) and essentially trick people into wanting a house-clearing, despite the woke change having arrived at that point of influencing government naturally. It worked it's way up into policy democratically. And yes, picking up key contributors, like George Soros and Bill Gates along the way to donate to this organic movement. Who then become the evil overlords because they contribute to progressive DAs and the same liberal or environmental causes I would. (except soft on crime DAs)
I see more a last-ditch effort to stop social progress by inventing a satanic overlord that wants to subjugate the children of the white picket fences to gender reassignment surgery.
I think it deliberately played on xenophobic, and transphobic (over homophobic) fears and whipped people up to stop the dissolution of their traditional way of life.
In my inverted conspiracy, Q-Anon and adjacent oft referred to media sources are on a secret conservative, rouge NSA (on religious grounds), Russian, or Heritage Foundation payroll and the "psychological operation" is to use superstition to exploit people for crusade-like purposes. It's the counter-organic resistance (that is actually more organized) that also has key contributors tossing money around.
The conspiracy of left-leaning global elites controlling everything exploits ignorance to world sociopolitical policy, and the reality that the evolution of modern societies, as they advance, largely is to the left. All seem to go through these egalitarian benchmark steps. Even sharia law societies advance left, albeit very very slowly. It happens. Abolition. Suffrage. Gay taken out of DSM. All progression from drilling in the skull to let out the demons (and make them "normal") towards diversity, equality, and inclusion.
Globally, I seeing all roads leading to a Federation of Planets. These evil globalist organizations people fight, in my mind, are just a step on the journey to a type 1 civilization. With super-advanced integrated cities, environmental equilibrium, tolerance, and even devices to monitor you're health. Call it Postmodern Transhumanism. The future trends left.
It's unfair to take advantage of a natural global seemingly deterministic trajectory for advanced society to go the way of Imagination and turn it into a convoluted paranoid conspiracy that needs to be fought.
I feel It's like fighting god's nature (the deistic one) to interfere with this organic social change.
It literally goes backwards under the premise of fighting WEF Styled conspiracies, and that's why it sticks out as being the more deliberate part, and more likely the true conspiracy.
Like why are you telling me to follow this gigantic web of convolution and mental masturbation when it all fits together so much nicer and easier this way? The other way has so many pieces you're brain leaves your head and floats down a rabbit hole never to see the light of Occam's razor again.

Please tell me you don't think Im a "Q" disciple, and respectfully not every questionable USAID funding is a social initiative for LBGTQ or otherwise. They are not, though to assert they do remains true to the thread.
I'm getting the feeling all's fair as long as it supports LBGTQ initiatives no matter how frivolous but if USAID was supporting Project 2025 it would be fine and dandy to turn on the light as to where taxpayer funds are going. It's as if it's ok for the Clinton Foundation to get 70 million USAID and 13 million diverted to Chelsea's wants and needs as long as a particular special interest needs are met too. I WANT THE LIGHT on everyone, you know equally.
I understand the concerns about who is doing the checking and auditing BUT not the whys and what for
This is no different than the Pentagon's $800 hammer virtually every contractor overcharges the government, why?
Im against graft and corruption no matter the party of origin, the amount of money floating around is off the charts there's no doubt somebody is gaming the system.
My great awakening was around Cheney's Haliburton contracts and how many old guard Dems Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and others voted for it along with the RINOs because once the DNC bigwigs could wet thier beaks all the legislation was passed and contracts signed. This was played back with Obama in Ukraine but then Biden and company took it to a whole other level. USAID was a "money pit" thus the 8000 pardons
FWIW there's more than an opinion involved and not just from those who reside in the Q Thread, which Im skeptical AF of generally. This doesn't mean all thier questions and thoughts aren't based in reality
PS Again Im not talking about legit causes for USAID but it's just like UNWRA it probably does a lot of good in some areas but the stench of embezzlement and graft consumes and overwhelms the positives.
We can do better, the legit programs will likely continue or get financed by philanthropic organizations as they should instead of from monster checks from the American taxpayer account.
Instead of blanket-covering neurotic rant let's look at every initiative on a case-by-case basis, eliminate the chaff and waste, for instance
8 million to boost tourism to Egypt... certainly we agree that's not Uncle Sam's responsibility. I certainly have never seen that mentioned as a campaign promise.
Quote:I suspect it's more akin to figuring out some hard truths.
It was a power and money grab just as Iraq and Afghanistan turned what seemed like honorable motives into nothing but a Haliburton/Cheney, RINO, and connected Democrats money laundering. The connected Democrats the old guard saw how effective the funds flowed and adapted the process. Hiding the money grab behind saving Ukraine and "stopping" Russia from taking over Europe the UK and the world with the added benefit of "bankrolling" social justice causes in America and around the world
All with zero auditing of where the American tax-paid funds are going, making it ripe for abuse from unscrupulous politicians and persons at the head of the numerous connected NGO's

Okay, I'll try to be rational... and trail off into something else. And then ignore it for a few days.
Is there waste? Yes.
Are there corrupt government employees to push agenda? Yes.
Is the corruption? Always.
Is there a deficit that needs fixing? Always.
Did the flow of entrants need to be slowed. Why not. I don't really care, but why not?
But it's the all or nothing total gutting I just don't like. The heavy handed napalm approach to go after the imaginary or exaggerated problems. Drain the swamp indeed. I get the regenerative premise, I just don't like what he wants to regenerate it as or the reason he drained it. And never will.
These problems weren't as bad as people made out either. It was through sensationalism that it sticks out. I have an example RFK Jr. might ignore.
The cardiac arrest of high school athletes. Number of occurrences actually never went up, ever. 3 have always died of sudden cardiac arrest per day in the United States.
It's object impermanence until some dumbshit truther descends the rabbit hole and starts following what isn't actually a rise in occurance overall, but gets falsely used as a proof of vaccination-related sudden cardiac arrests. And it doesn't get questioned.

Yeah, you are kind of all over the place but I get it.
But let's say it is a governmental overreaction, nothing has been done that can't be undone.
You saw where the FEMA person put through another 59 million to house migrants in New York ignoring Trump's edict so you aren't alone in your battle.
What is this all-or-nothing though, hell my main concern is how much is spent out of country, atleast if it's frivolous the money is spent in the US.
Hell, much of what has been done can be erased when the Democrats regain power, if he goes too far that could be as early as 2026
So be concerned and up to date on the news but let's see how it plays out, remember 4 years ago it damn sure didn't look like you would even be thinking about Trump or his boogeyman ever again
Don't worry about his boogeyman or yours for that matter. You are still the master of your own domain

Edit Reason: oops i said like instead of line

yeah like putt said. its a battle for attention to own the context. pfft to that noise. mostly ignore the trumpstuff these days. might feign interest in it sometime if i'm bored enough though. its so american and not in a good way eh. hard not to pick up the gist of it with how its the majority of the newsblather though. like how i don't watch football, care about football, but i know philly won the superb owl. useful for making useless conversation though.
in america the line between non-neurotic and disaffected is razor-thin. there's no profit in that middle ground, you see.

I don't like being so disaffected I ignore politics. Even though I can hear a nihilist friend say.
"It's all a slave race to see who can ignore their subservience best. Religion and Government are two sides of the same system of control and even Atheist Democrats and Christian Republicans are equally delusional with their belief of importance."
Screw that though. That is some fatalist excuse to remain disaffected.
I feel bad. I feel bad the Province of Ontario picks up a Superbowl spot just to remind American viewers they are not the enemy. And we still put a 25% tariff on their aluminum and steel again.
Why freaking Canada? 94% of their steel export comes to us. It's freaking mean. It's not very neighborly.
They are not a rival company to try to buy out, FFS. Or make a state. Lol. So is Canada the 53rd after Greenland and Gaza? Why does Elon need lower taxes (and me higher shopping costs) at the expense of friendly world relations?
So much for their commercial, although it persuaded me, and I usually mute the superbowl commercials.
I am far too sold on laissez faire global capitalism (neoliberalism) and unobstructed free trade. Go outsourced NWO as far as im concerned. And being in partnerships that don't hurt "neighbouring" economies to try to reinvigorate domestic production of our own.
ou peut-être que je pourrais simplement apprendre le français et essayer de déménager au Québec. Ils pourraient cependant construire un mur.
For now though, I'll just keep buying things imported from Mexico and Canada as the only way to protest this mean shit.
Maybe I'll take to the social media and join a #BuycottCanada and/or #BuycottMexico movement? It may assuage some of the nauseating feelings. If only to make me feel like i can show others in the world not every American is a nationalist blowhard that thinks they're better than them. Like damage control.

While we don't know the actual verbiage used, isn't it likely Trump said, "We need help at the border please" and Trudeau and Sheinbaum Pardo replied, " No, you orange fascist nazi pig, do it yourself," thus Trump's tarrific threats,I made a new word. He was democratically elected to secure the borders.
The great 2025 Mexico and Canada tariff wars are nothing but the opening salvo in negotiations Trump wanted more secure borders and more assistance from Mexico and Canada.
Now we have a 30-day pause to see if their offers of more troops and helicopters happen or not. But both nations said they would

So leveraging the threat of tariffs until they give in on a political issue in line with his administration's vision?
That's his MO. To leverage our influence and money like he's Hannibal Lector demanding quid pro quo. And everything is like some Faustian Deal, where they must yield their soul in the form of submission to his terms. At least at first. Like, "Give me dirt on Hunter Biden's business dealings or I wont give you aid!" Or in this case, "Help us secure the border for our "epidemic" immigration problem or we'll push you towards a recession going after major exports."
It's like that Big Lebowski quote posted and Jeff Bridges line that follows Walter. "You're not wrong, you're just an asshole." He gets his objectives accomplished. He'll probably get something out of Canada to call it off. He's just such a tycoon prick about it. He's Carnagie with his Iron fist punching a Moose for seemingly no reason.
And the immigration problem is not even as bad as it was under George W Bush.
Maybe the rest of the world doesn't buy our need for help with these problems either? Maybe they don't watch FoxNews and read Breitbart, or get their news from TikTok instigators, and have less reference to the sensationalized urgency in which Trump needs their obedience on this.
That's what's mean to me. Using trade relations as a tactic to leverage other countries to adopt our political agenda. Or else.
It makes me feel ashamed a bully is leading the country. And the face of it to the world right now.
"Peaceful" negotiation under penalty of economic pain. That's the idea behind SANCTIONS. In my mind he's using the same psychological approach for submission we use on Iran with Canada. Hurt them financially to get our way and their obedience on something. Call it tariffs as an opening salvo to his border seecurity goals if you want, it's like sanctioning Canada to care about our "immigration crisis" if that's indeed his ultimate goal..

I applaud your recognition that America, Canada, and (more or less) every other nation, seems to run on a paradigm...
in which this is exactly how you "negotiate"...
stake your peg in the ground and point...
the other party stakes their own where they want it...
work on it until you meet at the same spot.
Characterizing such compromise as "taking" or "giving" is only a matter of conceptual privilege/perspective.
The opportunity to rebalance the scales to equilibrium for any party is not one to be "put aside for political expedience" (as it has been.)
I would suggest to the principle agents:
"Negotiate... you can do it... at least try it...!
Devalue "marketing over substance."
Spend no more time on opportunistic political bashing, and actually SOLVE the problem we're pointing at.
As for the socio-political... stop pretending that "appearances" drive reality... that's mostly political media baggage.
Just sit down and WORK... is that so much to ask?"
Well, we're still talking to one another...
so once both sides are one with the "show" they can get on to engendering constructive outcomes.
That's literally what we pay them for... much of the drama is just an addition of their own.
