Ukraine slowed Russian invasion to a crawl for nearly 3 years with weapons from western countries, with Russian losses and deaths being a massive embarrassment for what use to be a 'super power'

With Trump first speaking with Putin and listening to his demands, they can make Ukraine out to be the 'bad guy' who won't take a peace deal. Trump will then bad mouth Zelensky just like before. Hey, Maybe I'm wrong and Trump will at least get a cease fire but I think Putin isn't really interested unless his demands are meet.
Zelensky shouldn't offer up Ukraine's sovereign territory unless his people agree.

Without western boots on the ground Ukraine is never gonna win. This ends one of two ways...either they settle with the loss or the west says no more funds and it stops too.

They are still acting like they can make any demands...we can all see where thats getting them. If the US brokers a decent deal and get Europe on board...they can say make peace...and it will happen.

Can you point to anything, anything at all, that might indicate that Putin is interested in a "realistic peace" other than Ukraine's complete capitulation?

He's running rings around Trump and making him look like a mug.

I was more alluding to an old episode of "The Shield."

Where they lock two people who see things ""differently"" in a container for the evening.

And come back the next day to see what's left standing.

But point taken.

He was correct, of course.

Rumors were that he thought of this while swimming in the WhiteHouse pool with 2 topless WH interns, code names Flip and Flap, all he was doing was just loosening up his sore back... he was going to use it on Jackie if she ever caught him

That war is extremely profitable and now that tech owns the US, that war is going nowhere if the threat of profit loss come up. Trump absolutely is aware of this and I do not believe he wants that to end.
Ukraine=unrestricted R&D.

Because it's their country that's being invaded by terrorist?!?!

I would love to see what certain Americans would say if this happened on their territory.
