He was the husband (and half brother) of Hatshepsut and father of one of my favorite pharaohs, Thutmose III. His mummified body, beautifully preserved, was found in a cache of mummies in a different location. This tomb, which was discovered in 2022 but only identified as Thutmose's a few weeks ago, was badly damaged by floodwaters (probably the reason he was moved) after his burial.

The tomb is near Hatshepsut's temple ("Mansion of a Million Years" is the name of the temple.)
