Time Expansion Experiences
#1
Bit of a spurries here, a book by Steve Taylor on Time Expansion.

It looks like he did some case studies and I may just take one for the team and buy it. One intriguing question he poses is if it's possible to induce a TEE.

Being the person that I am, I take this as a challenge and what could go wrong besides, ah ahah ah haha hahah Sirus continues to laugh manically as he fades way into time.

• What do unusual states of consciousness such as mystical experiences, psychedelic experiences, and near-death experiences tell us about time and consciousness?
• What can the countless reports of “life review” – when people view a whole lifetime of events and experiences within a few seconds – tell about the past, present and the future?
• What does modern physics say about the idea of linear time?
• Is it possible to speed up or slow down time by inducing TEEs?

There is also a blog here.
I found that in TEEs time usually expands by 10 to 40 orders of magnitude. This means that a period of three seconds may seem to stretch for half a minute, or up to two minutes. One result of this is that, in emergencies, people can take preventative—in some cases, life-saving—action that would be impossible in normal time.

Tempting to just copy the whole blog and comment on everything.

I also collected reports of what I termed ‘time cessation experiences’ (or TCEs). TCEs are much less common that TEEs, mostly occurring in intense spiritual experiences and near-death experiences.

Intense spiritual experiences is probably the responsible one to pursue here, but to get there without going manic or a ritual where you face the wrath of a genie is problematic.

TEE's I have experienced many times, have not noticed a complete cessation of time and not sure how you would to be honest.

So you can see where he is coming from.

Fun read, except for his instance on using the term "sportspeople" instead of "athletes". He's British. Rolleyes

About 10% through the book.  To induce a TEE it's just basically just a OBE with hyper special awareness, your classic ego-death with allot of attention to when the vail lifts and merging your awareness with space..

There is some postulation about where our sense--the clock-- of time come from and it could be the whole body and there is thread on that very topic here Magnetoreception

If anyone has trouble visualizing 4D and the whole time space thing here is easy graph that my help and also some fun nonsense on light and time.  Use the link to skip to the 4D graph.

About 20% through now.

Something interesting is earthquakes and TEE happening during earthquakes.  I solidly had tunnel vision the last time I was in a earthquake and military jets produces the same.  What makes this interesting to me is that it all involves overloading the senses where the ganzfeld effect is the opposite and employs sensory depravation.

Ganzfeld produces a hallucination that results from sensory depravation.

OBE's, TEE, RW, NDE all start with an overload of some kind to the sense.  Some people find the vibration before a OBE overwhelming. Joe McMoneagle mentioned he has to give his mind math's problems and other things that sounds to me like overloading to obtain ego death. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRTon6qgVws&t=11741s

SP (Sleep paralysis), and other religious experiences involves emotional overload weather it be ecstasy or being terrified out of your skull.

Any thoughts on this line of reasoning?  Sorry about all the acronyms, I think most here is familiar with all of them.

edit: the ufo nerds must know something here also, some of those stories are intense and the same with cryptids.

I think that's mostly adrenalin flush occuring that gives you hightened senses and because more information per second is processed the second appears longer.

But I had a freaky experience like that, same guy both times.
First was at one of his concerts and I looked in his eyes and everybody and everything around just disappeared, it was the opposite time effect as it, after the full 4 min or so song, felt like only one second had passed.

The other time was when I got a hug and I closed my eyes and leaned on his chest and I saw my own hand petting his back like I was his grandma lol
From embarrassement that moment felt like a year, hoping for the Earth to swallow me and such...
