TIME CUBE
#1
So, there was this crazy dude with crazy ideas, and no its not any of us here., (we hope)
Quote:Time Cube was a pseudoscientific personal web page set up in 1997 by the self-proclaimed "wisest man on earth", Otis Eugene "Gene" Ray.[sup][3
...

"[/sup]Ray's personal model of reality, called "Time Cube", states that all of modern physics and education is wrong,[sup][4][/sup] and argues that, among many other things, Greenwich Time is a global conspiracy.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Cube

Time cube was basically an all caps rant on, well everything. And it did get him some notoriety.., to the point the wacky kida at MIT invited him to give a lecture (it was kinda mean)
Quote:Ray spoke about Time Cube at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in January 2002 as part of a student-organized extra-curricular event during the independent activities period.[sup][8][/sup]

Here is another explanation of this theory and Gene Ray as well.

One of the commenters of the video below gave us the path to understanding this theory, that being, get stoned.

My significant other and I were discussing this morning our reality of time moving faster as we get older, we both agreed it is our reality so there you have it, time is not constant for us.

It regards to "time", I think Hawkings in Breif History of Tim states that all moments in space and time are the same point/place/time?. If so, subjective observations of "time" as  you say moving faster, it... well its above my pay grade.

We are just using our observational tools on this one.  Lol

If we don't accept the Time Cube, we will all become cannibals. OK, I can get on board with that. Puzzled Although, his point about comparing the US to Easter Island is a fair one. If we exhaust all our natural resources, it's not good.

Another truth is that after reading the capture of the timecube. com, my eyes hurt and I need an adult beverage.

After listening to Neil explain time dilation, I just can't stop thinking about it. Starting at 7:55 mark, mind blowing.

Any chance they can invent a human accelerator so we will then age more slowly?

Baby steps, a chimpanzee accelerator to avoid the human experimental ethics committee.

But really, we will need to live longer to get off this planet and be starfaring type I civilization.

I somehow think that humans will be cueing up for the experiments and the ethics committees will be impotent.

Imagine if they accelerate humans and we have near light-speed craft, double bonus that the original starfaring people will live long enough to reach their new home planet.
