The tic-tac could be an advanced US Navy balloon made out of aerogel

All the physics defying maneuvers are flaws in human perception.

Whatever the tic-tac is - it's very elegant and I wouldn't be disappointed if it was ours.

Just a note for accuracy:

JP Aerospace, as mentioned in the video, launches "PongSats", ping-pong ball-based science experiments sponsored by schools and educational programs.

"CubeSats", which are much larger than pongsats, and are generally more complex,  are generally launched as secondary payloads aboard orbital and sub-orbital rockets.

What material could possibly be strong enough to withstand the tones of pressure but still float when filled with vaccume?

Let's take 50,000 feet as an example for height. That is 1.68 psi and weigh 3.64 lb/cubic foot of air. Let's say the craft weighs 25 pounds including payload and vaccume container. That means the volume would need to be about 7 cubic feet.

A 2.5 foot across ball is just over 8 cubic feet in volume. Which is 19.6 square feet of surface area. Now applying the 1.68 psi to that, we get 4741 pounds of force crushing that sphere.

I find a beach ball weighing 25 pounds but withstanding over 2 tons of crush force highly unlikely.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

What do you mean by 'elegant'?
It is not 'ours'. You give too much credit to today's science when explaining tic tac or ufos in general.
Aliens are here.

but...that's what I personally think and it might be a wrong assumption.

So the tictac is somehow related to the underwater disturbance right? What if it's just tethered to an underwater sub and that's how it goes from high up to 50ft above the water in seconds? They just reel it in?

Aesthetics. I find the tic-tac aesthetically pleasing. I don't hope it is real whoever it belongs to.

a cylinder is aesthetic....i think i can see that with some effort.
it is scary as hell, if one thinks of implications.
A fleet of them coming down from space. And the one controlled from beneath sea surface...the one patrolling the perimeter of bubbling water below it.
all of them are created and controlled by 'emitter' beam, coming from some vessel, be it underwater or orbit...tic tacs are nothing more that a tangible projection, may be.
along these lines....emitter beam makes physical object, like those cylinders, near weightless. more likely by 'spreading' physical object mass over 'streached' spacetime area, making it to weight less becase mass is expanded (spread) over the larger sq area.

thats why tictacs were moving erratic....if you shine a flashlight on a wall, you can move that spot as fast limited only by your ability to move the flashlight.

thats my drift.

aerogel would not explain what was seen and introduces more problems

I think the real problem is people believing in aliens.

Take it up with young Joshua Bertrand. He should be quite easy to contact on YouTube comments.
