Hmm so you are claiming that in some mysterious tomb somewhere, someplace there are more modern vehicles shown that aren't the result of a palimpsest AND for some odd reason no one else in the world knows about them? Or something else?

Which tombs did you see the helicopters (or planes or whatever) in?   We can look at copies and photos of the inscriptions to see what's there.

Nothing ever changes.
Round and round we go

It actually served a purpose (and was a common practice in all the cultures in the area of the Middle East.)

There were always contenders to the throne; other noble houses who wanted power.  Ramesses II is part of the "what happened to Egypt after Akhenaten made such a mess with his weird religion and strange policies" story.

Ramesses' grandfather was a commoner who rose to be general of Horemheb's army (Ay succeeds Tutankhamun, and Horemheb succeeds him (a story for another time.))  His grandfather ruled for 2 years and died.  Seti I ruled for around 10 years, so the courtiers who were involved in the whole Amarna chaos were still around and some of these families didn't like losing the throne.  By the time Ramesses II gets on the throne, it's been around 60-ish years.

So, by lineage, Ramesses is NOT descended from a god (as Akhenaten said that he was) but a known commoner.  Other royal families who claimed descent from pharaohs who said they were descended from gods) were still around.  He cements his status by putting up monuments emblazoned with his name to prove he's the rightful ruler -- AND he repairs things that were falling apart (a lot of temples were ruined during Akhenaten's reign, when he proclaimed those gods weren't allowed.)  When he makes repairs, he makes sure everyone knows who did it and leaves a record that the common people just LOVED the things he did (whether or not they did, we'll never know, but he left all sorts of things saying "gosh, look.  They REALLY love me!")

So he writes his heroic deeds (proving he can keep Egypt safe) and sweeps any downturns under the rug.

I think Ill pass on this.  Possible, but not very probable.  A Pharaoh would make dam sure there were no oversights, or mistakes.

Nice try...  Try again...........

Maybe it’s just overlapping carvings. Maybe...

But what are the odds of those random scratches just happen to look like a modern helicopter, a tank, and a submarine... all neatly lined up like an ancient military parade.   Spin

One question if erosion is her explanation, why doesn’t it look eroded?
They talk like they know something about Egyptian history but, they still are unsure but, she knows

On the other hand, what are the odds that in an important religious monument (something like the Notre-Dame Cathedral) that the king would have them change ONE of several identical inscriptions to gibberish?

Because those extra signs would render the "Defender against the nine bows" section into total gibberish where words are partly spelled out and then "ufo" or "plane" or "helicopter" just dropped in before the text continues with rest of the phrase.

Why put gibberish into a temple -- and on the top of a door post?

And if you wanted to write about UFOs/helicopters, you're the king.  You can put whatever you like wherever you want it to go.  If you wanted to talk about that, why not put it on a big wall (as they did with all their important events) and write a lot of text about it (like they did for battles and tribute brought and major expeditions) explaining what happened and why the king handled it so bravely and magnificently (as he handled all those other situations he had written about his reign)?
