The Patterson-Gimlin Footage.

The back of the suit looks like a guy wearing a giant diaper.

And there is no getting around the staged look over the shoulder glance that was like a hey bro head nod.

If there were Bigfeet made of flesh and bone, breathing, eating, pooping, breading.  It would be as obvious as a deer runs or a bobcat controlling the racoon population.  The ecosystem of North America is a large puzzle where the fantasy of a flesh and bone Bigfoot has no part, no place. Like a Smurf.  As far has nature photography and Bigfoot, Bigfoot might as well be a Smurf.

I honestly don't see the 'flap and sway' in the clip. I see shadow and possible movement, but of what I can't say, it could be fabric or it could be tendons and muscle.

As for wearing a giant diaper, Patty just has some junk in her truck, as she appears to be on the larger side.  Lol

Funny.  The legs sway around like fabric.  But the “breasts” have no movement, defy gravity, act like they are styrofoam backed.  Where many have pointed out they are unfortunately to covered in fur to be useful to an actual baby Bigfoot.

I see many people find the video, unsettling?  Maybe too strong of a term.  Not really frightening but strikes a never.  I think it has to do with uncanny valley.

Quote:The uncanny valley effect is a hypothesized psychological and aesthetic relation between an object's degree of resemblance to a human being and the emotional response to the object. The uncanny valley hypothesis predicts that an entity appearing almost human will risk eliciting eerie feelings in viewers. Examples of the phenomenon exist among robotsanimatronicsq, and lifelike dolls as well as visuals produced by 3D computer animationand artificial intelligence.

I think the video looks silly and clownish because it’s a guy in a suit.

I can see why the video would place individuals in uncanny video because the guy in the female Bigfoot suit lacks natural movement.

The legs look overall skinny and weak for such a top-heavy beast-man.

Look at it this way, without the Patterson film, what do we have...? Not much.

- the whole height (if we ignore the top of the head) being around seven times the head height ("normal" is 7 1/2);
- the wrist appears to align with the top of the leg;
- the elbow appears to align with the middle of abdomen.

It looks like an average dude in a gorilla suit to me.

The problem with that analysis is that it doesn't prove that it's impossible for a human to walk like that.

If I went to the trouble of making or getting a costumer and wear it to fool some people I would also use a different way of walking, like Groucho Marx, for example.

I’ve been looking at some primate or is it gorilla?  Videos of them walking.  There is quite a bit of hip movement / twisting with each step.

The big toe also seems to separate away from the other toes and rase up.

Nothing like the plaster casts where the toes show no separation and are artificially static / ridged. seem almost uniform.

The PG film looks more like a guy wearing a bulky suit with some sort of shoes.  Nothing like a toed animal where the toes separate and are dynamic.

Lol, now tell us what you really think. It's just not really clear what your heavily invested opinion is.

Why you heavily invested.  Especially when the video is obviously a guy in some sort of suit / costume.

Added.  It’s kind of obvious I like nature photography.  And I look at this from the aspect of practicing nature photography.
