I work with ultra libs and MAGA, it's not a big deal to me. I can see where they're both coming from, I just have a problem with both side's politicians. 

I get it, they see their opponent as a dire threat to the country, so they go about things in a dogmatic way. I just think both sides are wrong. Opinion at the end of the day I suppose.

The thread topic is about how the directors of the DOJ and the FBI wasted the past six months chasing rumors and they have found nothing.

Now, in the past week Trump has gone from wanting to move on from this nothing burger to asking the DOJ to release all the files. Essentially Trump has caved into rumor mongers to prove to them that he and his administration has lied to the American people for months.

Yeah, let's cut the crap, because it is indeed becoming laughable.

Saying there's "no list" and Epstein’s files are just "boring paperwork" is like looking at a burning house and claiming it's just cozy mood lighting.

This isn't some quirky misunderstanding, it's a mountain of shady connections, survivor testimonies, sealed depositions, and documented flights involving rich, powerful people.

Those "boring" documents"? Many are still redacted, sealed, or still under court lock.

Victims didn't risk everything to take down Epstein and Maxwell over nothing.

Pretending the whole thing was just hallway footage and cheese deliveries insults every survivor and reeks of desperate deflection.

Yeah, not every name linked to Epstein did something illegal, but brushing it all off as a "fever dream" is laughable.

The system didn't fail because people imagined things.

It failed because justice is slow, the rich are protected, and the public still isn't being told the whole truth.

Call it what it is, that being a cover-up with punchlines.

But it's also a test of public memory and a case study in elite protection by Donald Trump.

It is very possible that Ghislaine groomed children for Epstein, and that is why she is in prison.

It is also very possible many people went there for the financial benefits of mingling with other elites not knowing what was going on behind closed doors.

i used to summer on an island in Massachusetts that had houses owned by vey rich people who some had ties to certain organizations.  

There was one man who stayed at a historical house there who was rumored to have brought a teen there, and whatever he did, the teen was so frightened that he swam across the channel and had to be rescued by the coast guard.  One of the kids who owned a house there told me this.  I knew this man as he was a relative (no bloodline though as there was a divorce and remarriage).  No charges were ever filed.  The man was indeed a pedo, he was my mother’s cousin?, he got away with everything I’m guessing.  I only found out when a relative victim told me what this monster had done to him later in life.

He was very good to me, and I visited a lot of museums and posh places as a child.  He seemed to be able to have places everywhere, I even stayed at his penthouse in NY thank god with other family members.

He was highly educated and could fool everyone.  

It seemed he went after boys, so I’m guessing that’s why I or my sister were never touched.  Although, maybe I was just lucky that other relatives were always there also.   He did want to take me for a couple of weeks to Austria, luckily my mom said no.
