The Banter Cafe

AI:

"Frying eggs at excessively high temperatures in oil can create harmful compounds due to the oil's breakdown and oxidation. The smoke point, the temperature at which an oil begins to smoke and release potentially harmful compounds, varies for different oils. For example, extra virgin olive oil has a smoke point of 350-410°F (177-210°C), while canola oil is 400°F (204°C). Exceeding these smoke points can lead to the formation of free radicals and the destruction of valuable nutrients."

So it may be slow and low heat is okay?
luckily i have never fried eggs in oil so hot it smoked.

i think thats just bad cooking. so i guess im good lol.

The word cafe, however, brings to mind French cuisine with cafe latte on the side.

Over here unless it's specifically a French Type cafe a typical Brit Cafe is a greasy spoon type thing.

And if you are in my cafe, which doesn't have a poncey accent thing over the e, you're in the UK.

I've never fried eggs with high heat either but recently there's this trend going around online where people are saying to fry your eggs in oil on high heat to get crispy edges - and that, that is the best way to fry an egg.

cheers.
I have a fondness for the pound coin. Such a perfect heft, and colour.  .. .
And a very dense clinking sound.
Now that's a coin....
I have 4 or 5 iterations in my collection, scottish thistle, welsh fronds of some kind...but there's a lot of types.

Oh, now I get it. I use to watch some of Coronation Street shows and the owner (a strange sort of dude) and his partner (a woman that used to be a guy) had a caff and beans on toast was popular with the locals there. lol

So you might be surprised at how many slang words I do know, or can remember from that show.

If 'they' were going to run personal lives,  'they' should only allow people over 30 to make online cooking videos.  this smells of some tick tockery.

Oh no.... let's not get into the trans thing. Yep, "Roy's Rolls".

I can add cheese to the beans if you want?
