Despite the fact that 460 of the 46 million immunized people developed Guillain-Barré syndrome, only a single person died from Guillain-Barré syndrome back in '76.

Considering the potential danger that H1N1 appeared to have posed, and the fact that those immunizations probably had some effect on preventing the outbreak from becoming epidemic.

You do know that the 1918 "Spanish" flu, that killed 675,000 Americans was H1N1, too, the same as in 1976.

H1N1 also recurred in 2009, where it killed 12,469 Americans.

The threat, which 46 million people were immunized against, was quite real.

- In 1918, Americans protested against medical attempts, like masking, sanitizing and quarantine, to protect them against the flu.
- In 1979 Americans inflated a story about very few adverse reactions to an immunization campaign that had probably saved potentially tens of thousands of lives.
- In 2020, Americans protested about every effort to protect them against COVID-19, which has killed about 1,1 million Americans.

None of it makes any sense.
