My thoughts too.
This administration is just as bad as the Biden one; it's all about centralisation, federalisation, corruption, TECHNOFASCISM.
These things rely on AI, data centres, surveillance, and censorship.
Both arms are rotten. Chop em off.

You guys are nuts. The mission on the Texas Cyber Command is to protect Texas against security breaches. The other non sense you guys are harping about is off topic. lol idk what else to say

It was signed into law by the Texas governor and has nothing to do with the presidential administration what the hell are you talking about

What the hell am I talking about?
A 'leadership' class that is going in lockstep towards monopolisation and centralisation. Where do you think all of the data is going to go and be 'commanded ' from? Like we just said, federal facilities.
Anything at a party and state level is the same animal as the federal at this point.
You don't think Governor Abbot is some unbeholden independent entity that doesn't get cajoled coerced and coopted by Federal funds and regulations?
He is essentially interfacing Texas infrastructure more tightly with federal infrastructure, in the name of 'security' , like always.

from your link "the Texas Cyber Command will be headquartered in San Antonio to partner with leading national cybersecurity missions, including the Sixteenth Air Force, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Security Agency, the U.S. Secret Service, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the Southwest Texas Fusion Center." how are you saying they have nothing to do with the federal government they are probably doing it that way to skirt laws saying the federal govmt can't like how they buy data to avoid illegality of collecting it themselves
anyhoo yes you have point and i don't live in texas athough i hear its somewhat nice in places so i will leave it to you guys to figure out if you want your state being big toe of big brother..

I believe what I said was the fed isn't running it and the state is. All state agencies have federal partnerships without federal oversight. Its common. You are making an assumption they are doing this to skirt privacy laws and what they can collect but big brother does not care about what ultrabudgie did today and neither does little brother Texas. Governor abbot nor president trump are rubbing their hands together like Mr Burns off the Simpsons in a plot against anyone that visits this site. My point is, governments have serious and dangerous problems, deadly problems that kill off its populace by foreign adversaries. They are not worried about what anyone else is doing and at the end of the day it is a state or government officer standing in between you and enemies you don't even know you have so you can rest well because we got this.

In Texas, we have a saying: The U.S. cant survive without Texas but Texas can survive without the U.S. Texas is like its own little country we don't even have the DMV we have the DPS, our own version. As for Abbot, he does his job well and I don't really know a Texan that doesn't like what he's done for Texas. Having worked for the State of Texas I know exactly where Texas data goes and it isn't some magical federal storage tank so guess again.

Having said both the above , and that 'Lackland (AFB) will be a part of this' . what exactly do you mean by both statements?
They are contradictory.

You said where do I think ALL the data is going to go and be commanded from. You are both overstretching the federal governments role in all of this. Granted, that is what the fed government does lol overstretch, however, these roles are minimal. Lackland has Lackland stuff to do. They aren't "heading up" the Texas Cyber Command and neither is Homeland, Fbi, or NSA. If the Texas Dept of Criminal Justice is on a manhunt and the U.S. Marshall service gives them a hand, its a partnership then too.
