I see another book.

"1 million born on U.S. soil, raised in communist China, can vote in American elections." All of this coming to a head in 2030.
"When the children turn 21 they can apply for resident status for both of their parents starting in 2030."

Now back to our current book. Something just feels off.
Cassidy goes to work reluctantly for Mark Meadows, now heading the Chief of Staff department. The very first question he asks her "Who are the worst leakers around here?"
Rather than answer honestly she targets Mike McKenna instead of Eric Ueland.
He was not liked because he was brash and condescending or so she claims.
Shortly after he was fired and escorted off of the premises. No investigation. I'm struggling to believe that Meadows would just do as she said. Even she was surprised.
"At the time, I hadn't considered how little Mark had seemed to look into the matter before firing McKenna, neither aware of the hit I might have just ordered nor viewing it as a potential initiation."

Meanwhile she has no title or clear duties but is told to be his eyes and ears and be with him at all times. She is 23 years old, just saying that non of this makes sense.
