 SEATTLE — A woman was taken into custody after a standoff at a Federal Bureau of Investigations building in downtown Seattle.
 
According to the Seattle Police Department, a woman walked into the building pointing a gun at her chest "for unknown reasons" just after 3 p.m.
 
The building was on lockdown for over an hour, according to SPD. The SPD Hostage Negotiation Team, Department of Homeland Security, King County Sheriff's Office, FBI and SWAT all responded to the incident.
 
According to SPD, the woman eventually placed the gun on the ground and was taken into custody by SPD SWAT.
 
There were no hostages, and no injuries were reported. 
 
The FBI will handle the investigation.
