That video made me think...
The parties (in this instance Democrats) are continually relying on tacit acceptance of an "implicit" paradigm. Namely, that people "vote for the party" not the "candidate."
It was and is still today true that many people will support whomever the party says to support.
But the truth is definitely out there, the party is not "obliged" to produce candidates that are of "the people's" choice. But the fact the Democrat party have only ever done this once before with Hillary Clinton, and now with Kamala Harris can't simply be "ignored." Why did they "refuse" the tried and true... for... this? Can it be said that at least it was openly acknowledged and presumably accepted by the actual voters? Or is that an unspoken "implication" too?
This is only a symptom...
