I'm well aware that 'The Americas' are North and South America.  But he went beyond that.  He was saying because they are all on the continent that they are all 'Americans' and that they have a right to be in this country.    THEY ARE NOT AND THEY DO NOT.    And no need to put foreign flags in quotes.  That's exactly what they are.   FOREIGN flags.   Not American.

Couple his left wing crap and his sexual decadence, he was a bad choice.    Sports should be politics free and rated 'G' for all audiences (meaning no sexual stuff).

The alternative half time show was a good idea ... however their choice of Kid Rock sucked.   He gets a free pass on his child rape music from the right because he waves the flag and is patriotic.   He should be blackballed.  Having him was hypocritical.

Irrelevant.   Those were foreign flags being paraded around and the message was that they are all American and have a right to be in this country.   They do not.   Doesn't matter if the game was watched worldwide.   Doesn't change the fact that it's an AMERICAN game and it's in AMERICA and that illegals do not have a right to be here, no matter the message that Bad Bunny was trying to impose on people.

Pretty relevant to those who make money off the sport.

The same type of people who own the teams and/or massmedia outlets that screen the events, so...

It's all about money and profit, never forget that fact.

They wave those flags, and team shirts sales, and viewing audiences go up across the globe.

That's just how it works.

As to the message, well, for once that seemed to be rather unifying and inclusive imho.

What's wrong with stating "The only thing more powerful than hate is love"?
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

"The only thing more powerful than hate is love".
Lipstick on the pig.
The pig being ... no borders and everyone is an American.

No borders is not 'unifying and inclusive'.
It's a left wing political statement that is anti-America.

I suppose you think that American flags being flown at the English 'Trooping of the Colors' would be appropriate.   Afterall ... it's televised around the world and it would be unifying and inclusive to include Americans in the English tradition, right?    See how ridiculous it is?   That's how ridiculous and out of place the foreign flags were at the Superbowl halftime.

Sounds like we see things rather differently on the matter, imagine that.

Nothing wrong with the message imho, again, it was inclusive as opposed to divisive.

"The only thing more powerful than hate is love", well, if that's lipstick, i kind of like the shade.

As to "American flags being flown at the English Trooping of the Colours".

I can't see why you would think it would bother me.

And if done so in a kind and respectful manner, to show support, why it would bother anybody else?

A lot of people from around the globe, from other nations, enjoy watching the annual ceremonial parade of Trooping the Colour.

In the same way, a lot of people from other nations, enjoy watching the Super Bowl.

That's not ridiculous as far as i can determine.

They cater to the audience you see...

You are dazzled by the candy coating that covers rot beneath it.

But then ... you aren't American ... so you don't care that the guy is really talking about no borders and all illegals are welcome.   Cuz' it doesn't affect you and it's not your country.

This seems to describe quite a bit of American "culture".

Also, do you remember previous years' halftime shows? Rife with sexual and demonic imagery. The depravity in the lyrics this year is nothing new. Just in Spanish this time!

I do like candy.  Saint2

But what i am is not the point of contention.

Im not American, but a lot of people aren't.

You don't need to be American, or even speak English, to watch the Super Bowl, or wave a flag.

The sport got popular, and went international in audience, you should be happy about that.

As to the message, ile stick to the actual words, and you can keep track of the ""hidden meanings"".

As far as i can establish, his core message was one of inclusiveness and unity rather than a divisive one.

"The only thing more powerful than hate is love."

Indeed and well said if you ask me, given the current temperature of people and the planet.

The fella even served as a witness and signed a marriage certificate with two people who got married on the field.

I really dont understand the resentment if im honest.

you seem to have not listened to the lyrics or not understood or even read a translation?

here is his first song:

Quote:[Part I: Tití Me Preguntó]

[Intro: Bad Bunny]
Ayy

[Chorus: Bad Bunny]
Auntie asked me if I have a lot of girlfriends, ayy, a lot of girlfriends
Today I have one, tomorrow I'll have another, heh, but there's no wedding
Auntie asked me if I have a lot of girlfriends, ayy, a lot of girlfriends
Today I have one, tomorrow I'll have another, ayy

[Refrain: Bad Bunny]
I'm gonna take them all to the VIP, the VIP, hey
Say hello to auntiе
Let's take a selfiе, say "cheese"
Let the ones I already fucked smile
In a VIP, a VIP, ayy
Say hello to auntie
Let's take a selfie, say "cheese"
Let those who have already forgotten about me smile

[Verse: Bad Bunny]
I really like the Gabriela's
The Patricia's, the Nicole's, the Sofía's
My first girlfriend in kindergarten, María
And my first love's name was Thalia
I've got a Colombian who writes me every day
And a Mexican I didn't even know about
Another one in San Antonio that still loves me
And the ones from PR that are all mine
A Dominican who is a fresh hottie, ayy
Fresh, fresh hottie
The one from Barcelona that came by plane
And says that my dick is fire
I let them play with my heart
I'd like to move in with all of them to a mansion
The day I get married I'll send them an invitation
Boy, stop that

it is inclusive or at least his dick is haha

here is the rest of the translation fo ryou
