I can judge on my own.
I'm not spoon fed by the media.
His message was open borders and everyone is American so
they can stay if they want.   That ... and his music was singing
about his happy dick.

So not a fan then?  Spin

His message was.

"Together , We are America"

"The only thing more powerful than hate is love"

And "We're still here" as far as i can determine.

As to "his happy di@k".....better than a sad one i suppose.  Saint2

... and that message is not true.
Those other countries are not part of ours.
The illegals from them are not Americans.
That and his 'ICE OUT' message ...
He is for wide open borders and for all illegals to be considered citizens.
Which is ROT.
His candy coating about 'love' is to sugar coat the rot.

And aside from getting off the boat, and being of means, what was it constituted legal immigration back then?

FYI, lots of uneducated, illiterate, non-English-speaking people built your nation, so...

As to then English speaking part, I do believe that the United States does not have an official national language.

English is the de facto language because it's the most widely used by those in power.

Edited to add ... and the illegals here now just suck off the
country while ignoring our laws, and do not 'build the nation'.

This made me ponder a bit.

Isn't hate with better weapons more powerful than simple poorly-armed hate?

Can't love away napalm.

I think I saw that in a movie.

Lol   My ancestors were not 'of means'.   None of them.

My furthest back ancestor who came here .. a reverend kicked out of England for bad mouthing the crown.

Rev. John Lothropp

Love is stronger than hate ...
Makes a good soundbite.
But in the real world it's probably not true.
Unless you count in a 'Christian ending'
where everyone is judged by God.
If that's truly how it ends then love beats hate.
But taken as a secular and in real life here ... nope.

Well, that kind of illustrates the point then.

Still not telling me what constituted legal immigration back then aside from being able to make the trip.

As to bad mouthing the crown, good on him.  Spin

That's mixing metaphors buddy.

"Love vs hate" isn't about firepower, Ultra.

It's about what sustains relationships in the long run.

Napalm wins battles, not futures.

Empires collapse from hatred inside.

Not from lack of weapons.
