Please forgive my lack of specificity - I would go back and edit.. but the damage is done if I was read as being serious.

....

UB posted

"the circular motif extended through the 99¢ to the visual path counterpoints the surrealism of the underlying metaphor

A reference I recognized as from a fictional form of poetry intentionally crafted to cause pain.

My bad form, it was poorly done... I should know better than that.

I posted like it wasn't DI.

Now you've piqued my interest. What frikkin poetry is that you are mentioning? :)

Sweet! People like my lazy AI art. Thank you all who like it.  So here are a few more of my recent ones that took all of 12 minutes each.

I don'tt want to steal UB's thunder...

It was a clever homage to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... or at least that's what I thought I had remembered...

In this Douglas Adams story...

A particular race was notorious for this poetry... the Vogon...
Vogons are described as "one of the most unpleasant races in the galaxy—not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous", and having "as much sex appeal as a road accident" as well as being the authors of "the third worst poetry in the universe".

One protagonist is asked to comment on the effectiveness of this poetry... after have listened to some of it... his response was a collage of "art critic speak"... well delivered . Excellent comedy.

(Read it and find out... I thought it was funny.)

If you don't mind spoilers ... it was once rendered into this:

Awesome, you’re on a roll... waffle-surfing giraffe messiahs and ascended bookstores? Love how creative you get with these. Lazy or not, 12 minutes well spent.  Grin

I also love to play around with ComfyUI... it’s an endless playground once you get into the flow.

Last One.

Politics influences my Lazy art too, especially when it conjures up the almost eugenic ideals of Aldous Huxley, and I have to respond.  I try to stay away from that though.

Thank You all..

And because DI has rights to these, here's another free use access to another copyrighted artwork.

Here's one exclusive to this site... like that means anything.

Post Apocalypse Veggie Tales.

Artist Comment - They didn’t get raptured.

I have thought about selling these as poster prints, but I don't think anyone's paying a markup for me to go to Fed-Ex Office and then ship them. Seems better to print them onto canvas and go to an art fair.  Then smile and hope I can bewitch a bunch of sales.

Maybe.  I tend to do bipolar things where I make plans and lose interest though..

I experimented with lazy AI a little while back and I loved the results. I submitted one of my pieces to a company looking for 'original' artwork logo for their brand for a price. Here's me naively thinking my inspiration and creativity was injected into existing artwork changed it enough to be a new creation.

When my piece was rejected for not being 'original' I communicated with the company representative as to why AI pieces were rejected outright by them. They basically said they wanted artwork done by an artistic hand as they feel AI generated artwork is pirated from others' creativity.

I get it, but like someone else in this thread said at one time airbrushing artwork was not considered as art, or rather art of value, but now it is. Maybe one day companies like theirs will look at it in a different way.

Legally speaking, if you take another artists' original work and change it just a little to 'make it your own', then they can't sue, or can they?

"Changing another artist's work can be legally complex and often involves copyright considerations. Here are some key points to consider: -------------------

I think the company that rejected my piece considered AI generated artwork to be unethical.

I really like the dystopian mutated veggies getting their revenge. ha ha

I have a new one...

I decided because ideals are all twisted now anyway, I might as well.

That is either a profound depiction of the embattled nature of traditional liberal ideology, a last bastion of increasingly isolated and decaying optimism lit now only by the hellscape encroaching it on all sides, seen through the parallel prismatic inversions of what remains of culture, crying and asking how did we get here? is this what we want?

Or it is postmodern degenerate claptrap devoid of artistic worth, speaking nothing to the good, the true, the beautiful.

You decide.
