Where the flip are my socks? This week I did it! I washed my 12 pairs of new socks. I got smart so I thought. I tried to trick my socks. 

Yes, I freakin hand washed them, I beat their game of disappearing. I will never destroy my washer looking for socks. My dryer lint is just lint and my mind can now rest.

Oh fudge, I put my hand washed socks on a line to dry. Took them to my drawer. I went to pair them up and all my hand washing rules were broke. 

I am missing 3 socks!!! I run down to the laundry room thinking I missed them. Nope. I went and got my tool box and ripped apart my sink, pipes and even the sewer line.

Nothing found. 

Am I losing my mind. 

Are the socks with the missing Tupperware lids? Are they having a party and laughing at me?

Did the aliens take them because they only have one leg.

I did my part, left her 11 pairs and she got greedy! Lol

I now buy double the socks so if I buy three pairs and one goes missing, I can match it with the remaining five. ha ha

I am not above wearing mismatched socks, just saying. I give up.

I tried putting on a new pair of socks every day.  But after a week I couldn't put my shoes on.

follow dryer instructions closely

it says clean lint trap before loading

don't clean it after you removed dried clothes

wait until next time you use dryer, right before you load wet clothes in to it

leave the lint in there a while

it gives the lint faries time to feed on it

otherwise they will take your socks...

Thanks for the good advice, I was diligently removing the lint very often and collecting it as a fire starter. If I put wads of it back in there will the fairies give me back my socks?
